The teachers here are fantastic. The management team deserves credit for running the place efficiently. Everything is clean, organized, and the processes in place are well established and consistently followed. Overall, very well run and positive environment

I have never had to concern myself with my toddler’s introduction to education, or safety, which is invaluable to me.
Management has significantly improved over the last 3 years, and parent-teacher communication is flawless.

I had my child in classroom A. The teacher used removal of food as a punishment. They were unkind and I personally witnesses her yelling at students who were 3 and under. The school just gave her a slap on the wrist and let her return to teaching until 6 months later when they fired her. I found out through other mothers that similar things were happening to their children. We moved to classroom B. The teacher was great, and went above and beyond. She was amazing with her communication and worked with my family on managing 3/4 year old unwanted behaviors. The consistency made things go really well for us. Any time she was out of the room for the day or a lunch, no one seemed able to keep that classroom in check. The kids are not to be blamed for the watching adults to be neglectful in their duties as trained professionals or just plain neglectful in general. My child was kicked repeatedly, over and over in the same spot. They told us not to worry. My child developed a fever that day as well. And they said 'that must be why he's laying down all day'. I took him to the SCH urgent care because the fever was high. I told the doctors about the kicking and they had him immediately taken to the ER with imaging done. My child did not come out of the hospital until 3am the next day.
We told Wallingford Kindercare this. They did nothing except "a teaching" for the teachers watching and then refused to move the violent kids from the class. This kid was a repeat offender, might I add. And this was not "normal" rough housing. This was with intent to cause pain, I had seen the child act this way before.
As soon as we could, we moved my child out of Wallingford Kindercare. If anyone cares to know, Sabryna was the Director at the time and Kaitlyn and Addy were Assistant Directors. The leadership under Sabryna is a constant rotation, just so anyone who reads this is aware.

BEWARE: I want to give a real review since the only ones here are from 2+ years ago. We ultimately had to leave this daycare due to the negligence of the teachers. Teachers and administrators only care about money. They adjusted their hours to earlier closing but then raised their prices … doesn’t make sense.
The teachers do not engage with the kids, at the very least they just keep them alive … Barely. In 1 day my child got bit TWICE by the SAME kid .. how? So they allowed a problematic child to continue bullying my 1 year old without any consequence because the next day, guess who was big again? (By the same kid as the day before). When I confronted administrators the director just makes you feel like you’re crazy, and from what here it’s not just my child. Even if you are desperate, don’t bring your children here. They are not safe.
