  My child’s transition into the program was flawless, we attribute that to the amazing infant team (and our child's sweet personality)! Communication with the staff is 10 out of 10. They reply to every question I've messaged to them, and they've addressed any concern that I've had. The classroom environment and daily routines have been such a vital experience for our child to create rhythm and routine in her life as she grows and develops. KinderCare has exceeded our expectations. They have made us a part of their KinderCare family, generously offering additional support if we ever have need.

  I am so happy with the care my son is receiving. The teachers are kind, supportive, and truly care about my son’s wellbeing. I’m very grateful for the wonderful care and highly recommend Puyallup KinderCare.

  My son has been going to this center since he was 3 months old, and I have had a great experience since then, he is now 1 1/2 and a whirlwind. The teachers in the infant room were very attentive and even helped me get over the fears of him trying solids. They never got mad at me with my momma fears of letting him go, or if he didn’t eat enough, or if he had a rash. They were so patient and allowed me to ask all the questions, and even at times worked with me when I wanted to try new things with him. When he moved to the Waddler room, he loved it, they did so many fun art projects that I got to take home and still have! We did have to move him up to the toddler room early because he was having a hard time with the younger kids since he is a bigger child. Management worked with me and moved my son up even though he was so young and he has flourished and learned so much! He tells me colors, different animals, and already uses names for is favorite people! Mind you he is only a year and a half! It astounds me how much he learns everyday while at this Kindercare! Management has always worked with me and addressed any need or concerns I have had. Kim, Kathy, and Tiffany are so easy to talk to and make me feel so confident having my son go to this center. He will continue going to this center until he goes to Kindergarten. Thank you so much for helping me find my childcare home for my son.

  I wanted a repeat of my great experience from 6 years ago, but the toddler program now falls short of bare minimum expectations. While the Infant Room is phenomenal (Hannah and Kris are AMAZING). They ensure every child is well-taken care of, and I truly wish their level of dedication was the standard across the entire facility. Major Concerns: • Safety & Professionalism: My child was bitten at least twice a week with a nonchalant response from staff.My child experience bruising on multiple occasions from the bites as well as bleeding from a bite wound. I was not notified of any bleeding, instead was told “it did not break skin”.I picked my child up with a bandaid on her chest that was saturated in blood. Most disturbingly, I witnessed a staff member yank a child and yell at them, and management did nothing about it. I also witnessed a teacher feeding her own child while the rest of the toddlers gathered around to sit and watch. This behavior is confusing and inappropriate for a structured classroom setting. • Hygiene & Health: My child was repeatedly not wiped properly even after staff "retraining” of at least 5x.Health policies are inconsistent; one day a fever is okay, the next it’s an immediate pickup. •At the time of enrollment, I notified the facility that my child had closed tear duct since birth and after attending this facility for 2 months, they decided to “rule out” pink eye. When I provided proof of her condition there was nothing said on their end. This was very disappointing. • Management: When addressing concerns, I felt dismissed. There were some apologies, but after I still had to address the same issues, the words meant nothing. It is heartbreaking to feel uncomfortable sending your child to school. That being said, unless your child is in the infant wing, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. (This review does not include the classes for 3+)

  My daughter has been going here for about a year, and I couldn't ask for a better, loving, and nurturing environment for her. She started in the infant room with Ms Kris and Ms Hannah, and has now worked her way up to toddlers with Ms Dani and Ms Jenna. As a first time mom it was really hard trusting someone else with my child, but the wonderful management and teachers have made it a little easier. Kim, Kathy, and Tiffany are warm and welcoming, and are always quick to answer any questions or concerns I may have. I couldn't be happier with my choice of childcare, and I'd highly recommend enrolling your child here if you're looking!
