My family had a terrible experience with Kindercare and I recommend placing your child in a different place or situation. My son attended here for I believe two years and it was a headache on a good day and a cause for concern on some of the worst days. This center feels it is ok to punish children by withholding food and screaming at infants to stop crying. When I would not stop bringing this up and finally put it into writing the center expelled my child, blaming it on his behavior.
The teachers Miss Casey and Miss Julie in the pre-K classroom were not allowing my son to eat with the other children to punish him. Both of them were not sent home or put on administrative leave, nothing happened to the teachers. I recommended they be terminated due to withholding food and placing my son at the table with all other children to be used as a public example as punishment, but I was told that was not within my authority to demand. I also witnessed a teacher continuously screaming at an infant to stop crying at them one morning while standing out in the waiting room. The director Melissa proceeded to sit in her office and do nothing until I said something. The screaming teacher could be clearly heard throughout the hallways. All Melissa did after I said something was get out of her chair, open the infant's room door and tell the teacher people could hear her screaming at the infant. I left for work upset by this incident and received a call from Melissa an hour or two later essentially groveling for me to not let this tarnish my image of the institution and ensuring me it would never happen again. That teacher was also allowed to continue employment and not sent home.
Now, I have spoken with the regional director Kevin Ross regarding these incidents, and he sees nothing wrong with the behaviors displayed by his "teachers". Mr. Ross' response to my written complaint was to shut me up by kicking my family out of the institution. I had already placed my son in another institution and removed him from Kindercare the week prior to our meeting. I had the sit-down meeting with Kevin Ross and Melissa in hopes of opening the regional director's eyes to the terrible and neglectful behaviors their director and "teachers" are engaging in.
There is a festering problem in this institution, and I believe it stems from most teachers and directors running the classrooms have their own children in attendance. There is a conflict of interest at hand. How can they hold their staff accountable i.e. administrative leave or termination, when they have to maintain teacher to student ratio numbers of 10:1? Any one of those teachers gets caught doing something neglectful and illegal they cannot keep that room open until hiring someone new. Therefore, there are no consequences for the teachers, they punish the students for acting as children do.
These are just the incidents I have personally witnessed. I can only imagine what is happening while parent's backs are turned. I intentionally waited to write a review until my son was no longer in attendance for fear of retaliation. Which was confirmed when I wrote an email of complaint and Kevin Ross swiftly blamed my child's behavior.
Guarantee 90% of the 5-star reviews you see are in response to them begging parents to leave a positive review online so the parents can get their name in a raffle for a free cast iron pan or a Starbucks gift card. I would think twice prior to placing your child in their care.

Best daycare. My son was abused by a staff member at another daycare (little flowers) and we immediately pulled him and got him into KinderCare. It’s now been a year since we switched and my kids love it so much. My daughter talks about her teachers and friends daily. I’m so sad that my daughter only has one more year but thankfully my son has a few more. I recommend this place for anyone who is looking around for a new or first time daycare! Rae and Melissa give so much love and support to all their families it’s truly a blessing to be able to send my kids there.

I have had and continue to have an amazing experience at Kindercare. We have been there for the past three years since October 2014 to now and we will probably be there for another two years till my youngest of three graduates preschool with Kindercare. All three of my boys have been attending KinderCare from the youngest development stage all the way through graduating preschool (three different ages). I have witnessed their professionalism and true compassion for youth development. Linda has been great to my family and to all the families I have seen her interact with throughout the years. Nicole is new to this Kendercare but her values and professionalism very much for align to Kinder Care‘s core values. I only listed the leadership because there is too many amazing staff to list But i promise you that all of the staff there are incredible. This is an accredited preschool and every class (age group) teaches an educational curriculum that builds and develops young minds and prepares them for higher education. I highly recommend this Kendercare to any parent looking for a place that is more than just a daycare.
