Primrose School of West Bellevue is an accredited daycare located in the Bellevue area that offers infant, toddler, preschool and pre-kindergarten programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
Our family has been part of the Primrose School of West Bellevue community since our son was just four months old—he’s now 3½—and we could not be happier with the care and education he’s received. The teachers are exceptional: compassionate, patient, and deeply invested in every child’s growth. Our son absolutely loves going to school each day, which speaks volumes about the environment they’ve created.
The curriculum is thoughtful, engaging, and developmentally balanced, blending play-based learning with structured skill-building. The administrators and owners are knowledgeable, approachable, and incredibly supportive, creating a culture where teachers and families truly collaborate.
Our son has some special needs, and the staff have gone above and beyond to find ways for him to safely participate in all activities while continuing to progress alongside his peers. Their creativity, flexibility, and genuine care have been extraordinary. Though our son sees many specialized therapists outside of school, I believe the staff at Primrose are largely responsible for the progress he has made over the last few years.
Shout out to Chef Parto for the fantastic meals and snacks they provide each day. Our son is always excited to eat what she prepares. We also deeply appreciate the extended operating hours, which make a real difference for working families like ours.
We’re so grateful for the nurturing community at Primrose School of West Bellevue. They have been an invaluable support for our family.

My son has been at Primrose since he was 12 months old and has grown tremendously during his six months in both the infant and toddler classrooms. The teachers and staff are caring, patient, and truly dedicated.
The owner, Shannon, thoughtfully suggested that we start in the infant class before transitioning to the toddler class, which turned out to be a brilliant idea. When my son first began, he didn’t know how to eat or sleep independently, but Ms. Bita gently guided him, teaching him how to eat on his own, nap comfortably, and adjust to a one-nap schedule. She even recorded his first attempts at feeding himself, which meant so much to us as parents. The teachers also took him to visit the toddler class in advance to help him get familiar with the teachers and routines.
By the time he officially joined the toddler class, the transition was completely smooth. He quickly adapted to the routines and developed a love for drawing, dancing, sign language, and talking. I can truly feel the strong bond between my son and his teachers. It’s clear how much he enjoys spending time with them. Mr. Wei has been incredibly patient and kind with all the children, and you can tell how much they adore him. A big shoutout as well to Ms. Elina and Mr. Dennis, who always greet us warmly each day and share thoughtful updates about my son.
We’re so grateful for the warm, caring environment at Primrose and highly recommend it to any family looking for a loving and supportive place for their child to grow.

I can't speak highly enough about the admin team and ALL the teachers. I love the curriculum and the structure but it's really the entirety of the staff that made this experience for my son possible. The second he realizes we pulled into the parking lot, he squeaks in the back seat out of excitement. There's so much genuine care and love at this school, and they will be irreplaceable. It's because of them that my son is learning everything he possibly can, from his love of reading, to demanding nursery rhymes to be sung to him so he can make all the animal noises. This school is truly a gift to parents.

I really appreciated the warm, nurturing environment that Primrose created. The teachers were caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. I liked the balance between structured learning and play, which helped build both academic foundations and social-emotional skills. The daily updates and photos gave me confidence that my child was safe, engaged, and happy. It was clear that a lot of thought went into the curriculum and classroom activities, and I felt like my child was always learning something new while having fun. The sense of community among staff and families was also something I really valued.
