My tour with your facility was entirely different from any tour I've taken with other establishments in the area, in the sense that it felt extremely rushed. I was only taken to the one infant room and there was no mention of the Primrose philosophy or anything about the curriculum that differentiates your school from others. At the time when I took my tour, I was told there was a space available in the infant room with a December start date. I was provided a start date agreement that went over tuition fees and was told that the agreement would expire in essentially 24 hours. Your facility was the first to offer me a start date agreement, after searching and being waitlisted with other facilities for months. Because I was told of the agreement expiration date, I assumed I had some time to discuss with my husband (who was not present at the time of the tour) and we were given some time to either accept or decline the offer. I had no idea nor was I told that the same offer would be extended to another family on the very same day. Even though I emailed my form back to your facility later on that same evening, I received an email the next day stating that another family already sent in their agreement and that there were no spots available for my child.
To say I was upset and extremely frustrated is an understatement. I understand I may have raised my voice to the person I was speaking with over the phone, and for that I apologize. But because I was not given the opportunity to accept or decline the offer that was initially offered within the agreement expiration date, it made me feel that your establishment does not seem to care about prospective families. Your staff does not seem to have compassion for the families that are currently undergoing this difficult process of finding childcare that is extremely limited in our area. The person that I spoke with over the phone seemed to have an attitude of "well you should have submitted your form sooner." If that is the basis of the philosophy within your establishment, then I certainly do not feel comfortable leaving my child in your care. I can only hope that you take my concerns and my situation into consideration when speaking with future prospective families.
