  Willow Lake KinderCare has come SUCH a long way from the previous ownership! This center has such a strong focus on quality early childhood education, the best part is that is all through play! The teachers have been with either KinderCare or this Center for many years and care so deeply about the children. If you're looking for a smaller, community centered daycare, with top notch staff...Willow Lake is the place for you!!

  Our children started at Willow Lake KinderCare in August 2025, and we could not be happier with the experience so far. Our baby absolutely loves it, and the infant teacher is truly incredible—so calm, patient, and sweet with the babies. As a mom, it can be hard leaving your baby all day but I know he's in the best hands. The preschool teachers have also been wonderful, striking the perfect balance between having fun, teaching curriculum, and guiding the kids to use manners and treat each other nicely. My son was nervous during the first few weeks of drop-off, but the teachers quickly picked up on his favorite toy and thoughtfully had it set up and ready when he arrived. That extra effort made all the difference, and now he’s excited to go each morning. All of the staff are welcoming and friendly, the property is well maintained and very clean, and I love that my toddler gets outside playtime twice a day. He always comes home eager to share what he learned and experienced. We are so grateful to have found such a nurturing, supportive place for both of our children!

  I couldn’t be happier with the changes that have taken place at this center since the new director took over. There is an obvious dedication to high quality care for children. From safety to curriculum to staff engagement I have seen a tremendous shift and highly recommend this center. It also has the best price for what you get in this area after getting quotes from almost every near by facility.

  In 2023, we moved to Sterling and urgently needed an after-school program for our daughter at Sugarland Elementary. We found Willow Lake KinderCare (formerly Caritas Academy) and immediately stopped our search. The center has undergone significant upgrades and has consistently impressed us over the past two years. Finding quality, affordable care is challenging, but our daughter loves attending aftercare and on LCPS closure days. Ms. Sam is an outstanding teacher, demonstrating immense patience and support while assisting with homework and organizing engaging activities for school-aged children. The director is well-organized and effectively communicates important updates.
