  We loved Ms Ally, and all other teachers my son interacted with. Ms. Ally was the sweetest, most understanding director I came across. She always ready to hear us out, assist with any concerns we had. However, I do need to let any parents know the experience we had with Ms Semira. First incident was when my son came home and says she hit me. Mind you my son just start talking and out of nowhere he said that. After we informed Ms. Ally our experience got so much worst. He would always have wet clothes pie. His nose is full of mucus, dry mucus everywhere in his face and arms from him trying to clean himself. The worst part is she start recording him while he cries and following him with camera while he is going away from her running away. After I saw that video I start watching every other videos she sent cause I have never paid attention to the videos before. And I have noticed she would always say negative comments in the videos that’s sent to other parents. Always criticizing him. Never once applauded him for doing good work. Then I have decided to talk to her. How I would prefer her to calm him down instead recording. How that made us feel. She got very defensive, angry couldn’t let me finish keep cutting me off. I keep telling her can I finish. She gets loud can’t communicate normal with her without her getting louder and louder. So we decided to remove our son. I was very concerned and felt that’s not a normal behavior especially for a teacher. We don’t want our son around that kind person at all. Person who can’t handle her emotions or have normal conversations shows big red flags to us.

  I cannot say enough good things about NoVA KinderCare. My family and I recently moved to Northern VA, and I wasn’t familiar with any daycare in the area, but I decided to look into this one based on previous Google reviews. From the moment I reached out to Ally, I knew this was the place for my children. She did a virtual call and tour with my husband and me and then an in-person tour when we arrived. As a mom of two little ones, I was so nervous to leave them on that first day, but the updates and photos throughout the day in the app really gave me peace of mind. All of the teachers and staff are wonderful and truly loved the children. I also appreciate how responsive the staff is to any questions, concerns or needs. The daycare is also located in a really nice area with the local library and community college within walking distance. The daycare also has tons of family/parent involvement. Ally and her team host events throughout the year and during holidays. My son loves “Cookie Friday.” If you are looking for a safe, clean and friendly daycare, look no further than NoVA KinderCare!

  Moving to the new Kindercare in the NOVA area has been a fantastic decision for our family. Located within the Northern Virginia Community College, this is likely one of the newest Kindercare centers around. The expansive space and open surroundings offer plenty of room for kids' activities after school, and we've been very pleased with the transition.

  NOVA KinderCare is wonderful! The building has gone through major renovations so it’s such a welcoming environment now. The staff and teachers are so dedicated and friendly and the director, Allyson, is such a warm presence in the school.

  UPDATE: We have been at the NoVa Kindercare for 6 months and things are still great. The center “makeover” is just about complete and now have their own kitchen with a dedicated cook. The menu looks yummy and my youngest kiddo is excited for the different foods. He also recently transitioned classrooms with no trouble. Ms. Samira is wonderful with the crazy pre-schoolers. My older two kiddos enjoy the afterschool program especially because they get to do art projects with Ms. Lindsey and Ms. Victoria. They WANT to come to NoVa Kindercare for school breaks. There was also a recent Director transition which was very smooth. Ms. Maya organized a couple of events for the families to get to know Ms. Ally and it felt like welcoming a new family member. Ms. Sunny is still the continuity, but Ms. Ally is a great add though we will miss Ms. Maya. We are returning to the area and our previous daycare center closed. I have three kiddos and a huge need was transport to and from the local elementary school. I had no idea how difficult that would be to find. Ms. Maya was the ONLY center in the area willing to work with me and is now the ONLY child care center in the area that will transport to the local elementary schools in the morning. While the transport is a great thing, even better is the care and family atmosphere at Nova Kindercare. My almost 3 year old took about 2 mins to fall in love with his teacher, Ms. Shorben, and Ms. Maya and Ms. Sunny greet everyone that walks through the door like family. Also, a plus is that the center is getting a “makeover” and recently got brand new play structures and the inside is getting a refresh with new paint, carpet and toys. All the updates will take a few more months but so far look great. We have only been at the center a few weeks but I am looking forward to the next several years.
