Don't trust these people. They hire ANYONE to watch your kids and will allow them to sit and cry. It's also way too many kids for 1 teacher. The ratios are bad. This should be illegal.

We have had our son at Springfield Academy for 4 years; from day care through kindergarten. The staff is caring and professional. The education is top notch. We are very pleased with the curriculum as it puts our son well ahead of our local public school. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a safe and secure place for their child!

Great staff! All three of my sons were/are (oldest son has graduated) happy to go to school in the morning...always a good sign! The teachers work really hard to create a welcoming atmosphere, and I am always amazed at how much my kids have learned. They teach cursive to the kindergarteners, which is not taught in the public schools at that age. There are always nice activities...trunk-or-treat, Christmas programs where the kids dress up and sing, Easter egg hunt. They really put a lot of thought into the summer camp activities. They even provide swimming lessons and pool time! Couldn’t be happier and a huge relief to have such good care for my kids while my husband and I work.

I had my kids at one of those "chain" daycares, which are really corporate franchises hidden as schools, I wanted to try a family owned daycare. My girls have been going there for 3 months but they have thrived! They do so many fun and wonderful things, during Christmas they had a charming Christmas play and the next day Santa came and handed out candy canes. It was wonderful. My girls' teacher was a former Fairfax county worker for 15 years so I feel at ease leaving her there. At the other Corporate daycare, my children were seriously treated as products, moved from class to class like cattle so the Stupid manager could send the workers home and save a few bucks. Will never do that again!!! The class I leave my daughters in is the same class I pick them up in, and I love it! Plus they teach the children The Pledge of Allegiance, daily prayers, wonderful values. I recommend it 100%!!
