- TTTOJul 9, 20241.0One day when I was going in to pick up my toddler, who was pre-verbal at the time, I walked in hearing the sounds of her crying. One of the staff members was taunting her, repeating the crying sounds in a deliberately mocking tone. While I don't expect staff to pick up babies/young toddlers every time they cry, I definitely didn't expect that kind of callousness and cruelty. Made me feel like a bad father for having ever put her in this place. This event, after the numerous times where she came home with a bad diaper rash (despite not having one before being dropped off), was the nail in the coffin for me. I really can't recommend Newington Forest KinderCare for young children who can't speak up for themselves of communicate their needs.
