  My son had an unsafe experience at KinderCare Pump Road. He was picked up wet, came home and found unsupervised Please read the negative reviews before deciding to enroll your children there Even if there’re no more options available for you DONT ENROLL THEM THERE

  My child’s time there was positive, and I do think parents could benefit from enrolling their kids here. However, I did encounter an issue when my son’s care ended on July 25th. When I went to retrieve his belongings which included his blanket, clothes, pampers, and wipes. I was informed they were misplaced. I understand accidents happen, but I do feel this could be handled with more organization and accountability to ensure personal items are returned promptly.

  This center truly cares! We’ve been attending since December 2024, when my son was just a year old, and I’ve been consistently impressed with how dedicated and loving the staff is. Ms. Erica, the director, is incredible. She’s involved, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting both the staff and families. She knows every child by name and somehow manages to be everywhere at once. Ms. Inez is also sooo amazing at supporting the kids and teachers. Idk when they sleep? The infant team, including Ms. Manu, created such a warm, comforting environment in those early days. They helped my son feel safe and cared for right away, and it made a big difference in his confidence (he was home with me for a year). Ms. Manu and her team are the point for drop offs in the am...and they are so sweet . For the toddlers/in between, Ms. Tammy and her team are phenomenal. You can tell how much she cares about kids! Ms. Tammy was so instrumental to get our kid used to daycare/playing with others. We love her so much! We just got upgraded to the older toddler room and im sure the teachers will be just as great. As an anxious parent, I’ve felt completely supported from day one. This place goes beyond just childcare and I couldnt recommend this more. Everyone I've talked to really cares. My only minus is that sometimes the teachers pull the diaper too tight when they change

  I love love love Kindercare on Pump Road. My daughter who is 1 has been with the center since she was 6 weeks and she is treated like everyone baby. It’s such a loving place. Would highly recommend

  I have used kinder care at 1001 pump road Henrico va for about 10 months. They are affordable, caring and attentive. They have such a great curriculum that I don't worry about my child being ready for kindergarden. My son loves going to "school" and all the staff there are friendly. He is well fed and my son loves the food which is served. They have water days, ice-cream truck in the summer and fun evening events for the whole family around holidays like Christmas and Halloween. Every teacher that srikar has had been my son's absolutely favorite. Ms. Travis and Ms. Elma are superior and my son counts them as family. I am very happy i chose this child care center and never had any negative experience with any one person in the center. I especially want to thank Ms. SARA and Ms. Emily for taking time and adjusting with my son's requirements. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an affordable preschool.
