- CHChris HallAug 26, 20225.0Our child was in Primrose School of Reston's infant and young toddler classes in 2021 and 2022. The teachers and staff are, without exception, excellent! We felt so lucky to have such kind and caring teachers offer our child support, attention, and an opportunity to learn and meet other kids. We never had trouble communicating with the school, and we appreciated the collaborative approach each teacher took to caring for our child. The school is bright and clean, and we were greeted like friends every time we walked in the door. Thanks for a great experience!
- GKGün KARAGÖZAug 3, 20205.0My son started Primrose when he turned to 2. He was barely speaking at that time, only 10 to 15 Turkish words. It would be his first daycare experience, we knew that leaving his mom would be so depressing for him, moreover he would be living in an environment without the language he speaks. We hesitated a lot and searched for the best daycare for him, now, after 1 year, he even misses the school at the weekend! It took 2-3 weeks for him to get used to, it all started with cries. Slowly he got used to Primrose friends with the great help of staff, teachers and everyone in the building. It's been 1 year since he started and he is very happy when he goes to school. He only skipped some weeks in first days of COVID, now he is three yo and bilingual (Turkish & English). We didn't want any specific promise/program from a daycare, we only wanted him to be happy and we are glad to see that our decision worked well for him. He would learn STEM etc. through his life, but the joy is the most important feeling for his age. We visited many daycares before the decision to get an answer only for one question: do the teachers and kids look happy? Special thanks to Ms. Patel, Mrs. Fogleman, Mrs. Schatteles and Mrs. Cruz who helped a lot on our decision and my son's adaptation period.
