  This Childcare center has been very difficult to work with. I have not sent my child there yet but have been trying to get information about waitlist times and tuition info to compare to other centers. They won't provide any information unless you set up a tour of the center which they only provide weekdays noon to 2pm. So I have to take time off work just to get some basic information that they should be able to tell me over the phone. Additionally I have tried communicating via email, I got an initial response from Minerva but she has since ignored any follow up emails I have sent to try to communicate. Why is it so hard to answer my questions?

  Toured the place recently on a Friday and the lady who set up my tour (Minerva) wasn’t even there that day. The woman who gave us tour didn’t seem prepared to give us a tour- she couldn’t even tell my husband and I how much infant care would cost. Promised to contact me by the following Monday to confirm prices/other info we discussed and never heard back from her. Wouldn’t trust putting my infant in their care..lack of knowledge, organization & communication apparently!

  November of 2022, I contacted this center to place my infant daughter on their waitlist. I needed care by the middle of February. I was told that the earliest availability would be the end of February through the beginning of April. Thinking I could work something out with my job, I scheduled a tour of the facility for the 29th of November and placed her on the wait list. January of 2023, I called for an update as to her position on the waitlist. I was then informed that she was never placed on the list and they had no availability until September! They had no recollection of telling my family February and no note of our tour. They blamed the mix up on the Director who no longer works there apparently although we met multiple teachers throughout the tour and all of them made mention of seeing my daughter enrolled in early March. They then tried to gaslight me into believing that NO ONE had ever said that and that we never toured. They blamed the Director, who I had only spoken to once, for telling me the wrong date even though the lady I was speaking to over the phone was present for our tour and was one of the of the workers to confirm the earlier availability. She then told me that she would figure out what went wrong and call me back. I haven't heard from them since. 2 months that I could have been searching for care wasted. I faced backlash from my job for not having childcare by the time I promised because I was assured that we would have a spot so I did not have a backup plan. Luckily, an open spot became available in the on base daycare so we are taken care of but I would not recommend this place unless you have time to waste and patience for unprofessional workers.

  We enrolled our (then) 3 year old in Churchland Kindercare a year ago, and since then have also enrolled our infant twin daughters. Everyone there is super friendly and very helpful. Classrooms are well run, and they are taking cleanliness and masking seriously with the pandemic. The infant room goes above and beyond on communication, which is amazing since things change so fast within the first year. They truly love my girls and strive to see them grow and succeed. I think communication at the older ages has suffered some with the pandemic, what with not being able to enter the building or have face to face convos with the teachers as often. They are doing their best to keep communication as much as possible, but that's the only area I would wish to see improvement from the school in general.

  My son has been at Churchland Kindercare since he was 12 weeks old. He is almost 5 now and the staff has done such a wonderful job in helping him grow. We have loved our time at this center and will be sad when we move. My son loves his teachers and is excited to come to daycare every morning. The center is very clean and has great precautions in place for covid. Children are taught about how to wash their hands, why and how to wear their masks, etc.
