  I had the misfortune of talking to someone who said she was the owner's daughter. As she was hanging up without saying goodbye, she called out 'rude' to me for no reason. I would think twice about bringing my child to people with this attitude.

  Our 3 school age children were at this location for 2+ years. Our youngest started in the pre-k classroom, she developed her writing skills, worked and came home with sight words. Aubrey and Melanie are amazing. Their team has been working together for a long time and it shows. Their communication with each other on our children’s various schedules throughout the school year was seamless. Our children love their teachers

  I have had all my children at this KinderCare. I can't say enough about them. The faculty are excellent, they are attentive and caring. They don't have a big turn over rate with staff and they have lots of experience with child care. The facility is clean and well maintained. They have wonderful programs including phonics, stem , and even cooking classes. They have prepared my oldest for kindergarten this year and she more than ready! I would highly recommend them.

  This daycare center was my children’s second home. With being a single mother of three, there isn’t a center I could trust more! This center is the most organized, clean, caring staff I’ve seen in a daycare ever! Not to mention, the director is so passionate and caring. She really cares about the children and their concerns. She also was a huge mentor for my son. I moved from FFX county, and still made arrangements for my kids to attend this particular daycare; even if it meant going out of my route.

  Our daughter first went to Silverbrook KinderCare in Lorton when she was 10 weeks old. As a first-time mom, I was nervous to send my very young infant to day care. I was welcomed with open arms and supportive staff. The wonderful teachers put my mind at ease every time I would drop her off or pick her up she was well cared for: being held, playing with other infants, teachers, etc. When she transitioned to another class room, and now Pre-K (my daughter has been at the center and transitioned to Pre-K this year after her 4th birthday) her vocabulary is outstanding, the play-centered learning environment that is positive and supportive, basic Spanish is incorporated in all class settings, art projects, large outdoor playground, the exposure to healthy foods (they teach healthy food and offer healthy foods and incorporate how to cook too) AND she is enrolled in the music class. Ms. Krystal, Ms. Shabina, Ms. Elizabeth, Ms. Ida, and Ms. Dede are wonderful! The staff has tenure with the school creating a great teamwork environment and gives my daughter a sense of comfort as she sees her teachers and has grown up with them. I highly recommend this top notch daycare. They have just started a STEM program as well which I’m looking forward to exploring for my daughter. If you haven’t met Ms. Aubrey and Ms. Melanie, you are missing an opportunity. The both treat each child at the as if they were her own. Thank you Silverbrook KinderCare Lorton for making a difference every day in my daughter’s life!
