  Our family has had an incredible experience at Bach to Rock Landsdowne! My son started drum lessons there at a very young age, and the support, encouragement, and belief the team showed in him made a tremendous impact on his musical journey. The teachers are truly exceptional. Troy has been an amazing instructor for my son — he holds him accountable, explains complex concepts in ways kids can understand, and most importantly makes learning music genuinely fun. My son absolutely loves his lessons and looks up to him so much. Another teacher, Brian, also had a profound impact on him in a short time and inspired him so much that my son now says he wants to be a drum teacher when he grows up. What really sets this location apart is the leadership. Abhi has an incredible gift for recognizing and nurturing kids’ potential. He welcomed my son into the program when he was quite young for formal lessons and created a space where he could grow as both a musician and a person. Because of the environment at B2R, my son’s love for drumming absolutely took off. At one point he was practicing for hours a day — sometimes we had to ask him to take breaks for the neighbors! That kind of passion doesn’t happen without the right teachers and encouragement. If you’re looking for a music school that truly cares about kids, nurtures their love of music, and surrounds them with inspiring teachers, I cannot recommend Bach to Rock Landsdowne highly enough!

  Bach to Rock Landsdowne is a great location! My son is enrolled in the guitar program and its the best part of his week! If you have kids with an interest in music this is the place to go!

  We enrolled our daughter in the Glee classes at Bach to Rock (Lansdowne), and while the weekly classes themselves were fine, the winter recital was a mess. The recital opened—not with the kids—but with the teacher and her mother performing, which set a strange and awkward tone for what was supposed to be a student showcase. Two completely separate Glee classes, who had never rehearsed together, were suddenly combined on stage. The result was predictable: chaotic staging, uneven performance time, and 2 kids (including our daughter) getting overshadowed by one child dramatically acting like she was auditioning for Broadway bumping into the other girls… unfortunately with a rough singing voice as well. The most concerning part was when my husband politely asked that our daughter not be recorded or posted online, the teacher pushed back and said we “signed paperwork,” instead of responding professionally or respectfully. Regardless of paperwork, arguing with a parent about consent—especially involving a minor—is not appropriate. There’s talent here, and the concept is great. But execution, organization, and professionalism during events need improvement so we withdrew our kids. If you’re considering Bach to Rock for recitals or performances, manage your expectations.
