We’ve had such a great experience at Primrose School of Haymarket. From the very beginning, we felt really comfortable leaving our child there, which says a lot as a parent. The teachers are so caring and patient, and you can tell they truly love what they do. Our child has learned so much, not just academically but also socially. It’s been amazing to see their confidence grow. We also really appreciate the communication. We get regular updates and always feel in the loop, which makes a big difference. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help if we have questions. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience and would definitely recommend Primrose to other families looking for a place where their child will be cared for and supported.

We absolutely love Primrose. After our experience at our last center, where we had so many concerns that were never addressed, finding Primrose felt like a breath of fresh air. From day one, it’s been clear that providing quality care and a safe, loving environment is a top priority here. The teachers and admin truly feel like our kiddos’ second family. They care so deeply, communicate well, and always make us feel heard and supported. My husband and I trust them completely, which means everything when it comes to your children. Like anywhere, Primrose has had some turnover and management challenges in the past, but the difference now is night and day. Things have genuinely turned around, and it shows in the culture, the classrooms, and the overall environment. We are so grateful to be part of the Primrose community and highly recommend them to any family looking for a place where their children will be safe, loved, and well cared for.

After touring this primrose location, my husband and I loved the atmosphere and decided to enroll our 14 month old daughter and went back on Tuesday January 20th to complete enrollment paperwork. While my husband was filling out docs, I walked my daughter through the school hallway to keep her busy and when I looked into the 16M+ classroom (the classroom she would be joining), I witnessed the teacher yank a little boy by his arm. She pulled him from above the elbow and his legs were not touching the ground. Not only that we heard her yell at a child in the classroom to "SIT DOWN" very aggressively before this. It was loud enough that we heard it from the sitting room in the front. The directors assistant went into the classroom to check what was going on. Needless to say, we did not enroll our daughter into this school and left shortly after. I let the director know what I had seen and we left. I later got a phone call from the director explaining what I had seen was redirection from the teacher and that she had been at "this school for 4 years" and said words like "appeared" and "perceived". There is no excuse for a teacher to yell at babies in this way. There is no excuse for someone to pull a child in the way that she did. She could have caused an injury and dislocated his shoulder. I did not get another phone call and I don't know if this incident was reported but | feel like it is my responsibility to let anyone looking into this school know what I saw. I still think about that poor child and what his parents might not know. Please do not enroll your children into this school especially if your babies cannot speak to you and let you know what kind of treatment they are getting. What I saw has affected me and we are lucky enough to be able to keep our girl at home with us and delay day care.

Both of our daughters started at Primrose School of Haymarket this year and we are so glad we made the switch from another school. We have been searching for the perfect fit and glad we made the right choice for our family. The Leadership team is top notch! Mrs. Banks and Mr. Smith are always friendly, professional and communicative. Every time I see Mr. Smith playing with the children and supporting the teachers in the classrooms brings joy to my heart. It says a lot about the culture and environment when a Leadership member is hands on and genuinely cares about the children. Our oldest daughter is in the Pre-K classroom with Mrs. Roach and words cannot express enough how AMAZING she is! She is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who is driven by the success of all the kiddos in her classroom. She truly loves to teach and enjoys what she does everyday. One of the main reasons we made the switch to a new school is to have our daughter learn all the skills needed to prepare for Kindergarten next year. It’s only been a few months but our daughter has been thriving and learning so many new things and we are so grateful for Mrs. Roach! Huge Thank you and appreciation to both Mrs. Banks, Mr. Smith and Team for all that you do every day!! If you’re looking for a new school, add Primrose School of Haymarket to the list. Highly recommended!
