  We are a Burke Lake KC family for 6 years, and expect to be there for 4 more. We cannot imagine life without the Burke Lake KC. We have 4 children there. We have a true partnership with the director (Ms Tina), asst director (Ms Sarah), and the teachers. They have gave us great guidance when we were first time parents, have helped us through developmental and behavioral challenges with our kids, and kept our children safe and engaged in the last year during what was an incredibly challenging time. Here is what we love about our kids' teachers over the years, and it's a long list: Our children love Ms. Maria, the chef, so much that our twins like to start their day with a hug from her in the kitchen. Ms. Petrea and Ms. Martha took care of all 4 when they were infants until roughly 16 month olds. Ms Petrea gets down the floor to be with the little ones and engage with them at their eye level and they love to climb on her. I can still see Ms Martha walking around with our oldest when she had such bad separation anxiety, and holding her and keeping her calm. The twins are so excited to see Ms. Ruby and Ms. Kaila in their class that they ask for them in the morning. Ms Ruby had had all four of our kids, and has helped them improve their language skills - they all have made the biggest communication improvements in her class, and she is never too busy for dancing or dress up. Ms Kaila keeps the twins moving and grooving in toddlers, and to help them learn gentle hands with each other. Ms Saadia had our older kids when they were two and has helped each develop through their terrible twos and get their language skills really going in time for preschool. Ms. Samina has had the older two across multiple classes, and has incredible patience with our challenging crew. Ms. Nighat got the toughest year - the threenagers. But she helped us immensely in managing their behavior and encouraging their listening and reading skills. The kids talk to us all the time about how kind Ms. Ana is, and Ms. Erica holds a special place in our heart. Her calm and unflappable demeanor is so great for the kids when they start to get "big feelings". Ms. Alia literally helped our oldest learn to read, and is now our second oldest's teacher and doing the same for him. Her creativity in teaching lessons really engages the kids. I cant say enough the care Ms. Asma has provided to our older two across the years. She helped them gain confidence in potty training and in managing their listening skills. Finally, Ms. Ashley has helped us to be able to continue to work because she has been there to help our oldest with virtual school, and to have some fun, nonscreen time when not in class. Like I said - we can't imagine life without Burke Lake Kindercare.

  As a military family, we have experienced many different daycare centers--from several different CDCs, to Montessori schools, and now KinderCare. KinderCare Burke Lake Road is an excellent daycare with wonderful leadership and caring teachers. They work very closely with the family to ensure each child has a great experience. We could not be happier! Highly recommend.

  We're really happy with our choice to enroll our daughter in KinderCare at Burke Lake Road. We had our daughter in a great, but small, in-home child care center for her first two years. As she approached 2 years old, we could tell her social skills were plateauing. After searching for a classroom environment, we chose this center. Tina, the director, is kind, warm, and highly capable. Her expertise and credibility with early education helped us trust her immediately. Our daughter has flourished in her center's care. The teachers are kind and care about each student as an individual. They get a great mix of play-based learning and a curriculum appropriate for their ages. Sarah, the assistant director, greets the kids and parents warmly every day and always seems to know what our daughter did or cared about on any specific day when we pick her up. We'll be enrolling our new baby when she comes in a few more weeks.

  The amount of care and respect this facility has towards their families is award winning! Both of the director's are honest, caring and have genuine love for each child in their care. They make sure that the facility is maintained and has trouble free access when parents arrive or depart from the facility. I know that our son absolutely adores "Miss Dia" and "Miss Asma" in the twos class and misses them very much now that he is in the threes class. The staff here make an impact on our son each day. We can see our son grow daily when we ask about what they did. Overall, we will greatly miss this location after we PCS around the Map. Thanks Burke KinderCare, for keeping our kids safe and being such a great family!
