  I have 2 kids that go here, one half day because she is school age and I love the fact that they take her to and from school. My son is there full day and I love the fact that he gets to learn and be around kids his age. They both enjoy it! I also love how they keep the parents updated.

  We have been with KinderCare Franconia Road for 3 years now and have enjoyed bringing our two children there. From infants and beyond it was peace of mind knowing they are in a nurturing, safe, and fun environment. The staff and director are very flexible and willing to try to work with any family’s specific needs to the best of their ability. The teachers are always doing fantastic games and crafts for the children. I would definitely recommend!

  This daycare welcomed my son since he turned 16 month, and since then, we are doing full time there for almost 1.5 years. We cannot ask for more! Attentive staff and friendly environment made this place enjoyable for my child. First, transition time didn’t take too long- only a week or so. Second, the children are happy including my child, they play and learn, socializing and eat well there. I can see photos of my child learning every day on the app used exclusively by Kindercare’s parents. Leaving my son at the daycare every morning gives me a great piece of mind that his needs are met, he is taken care of and he is safe. Kudos to all Teachers and management including Ms. Buffy and Ms. Andrea!!

  Upon moving to Northern Virginia last year, we began the search for a full-time daycare. One of our friends recommended KinderCare at Gum Street. Over the past year, we have been very pleased with our daughter's care and learning in the Fours classroom. She is excited to attend every day (as a parent, that is more than I could've wished for). The additional learning opportunities of phonics, music, cooking and STEM with Ms. Denise are phenomenal. Ms. Buffy and Ms. Ronna foster an environment filled with love, learning and laughter.

  I love this location of Kindercare. My son started there at 18 months old. He is now almost 3. Even after we moved 30 minutes away, we kept bringing him to this Kindercare because we both loved it so much. I have to admit that I am pretty hard to please in general. but I have been totally pleased by this place. When we first started there in November of 2016, I think the Director (Michelle) had recently come on board. She was fabulous from the start! And all the teachers and staff are so kind, loving, and encouraging to the children. Every single day my son got a super-warm welcome from his classroom teachers AND his classmates -- including big smiles, hugs, & such good feelings. Overall, we view it as much more than a daycare; it's more like a little school. They have a learning curriculum, they feed the kids meals, give them snacks, do fun projects, etc. He learned colors, letters, numbers, shapes, etc. He did all kinds of projects, including painting, cutting, glitter, etc. ALSO, I signed him up for little enrichment sessions there, so he also got 1-on-1 time with a special teacher there who did phonics, math, and music w/him and sent me individual written reports on his activities and progress. He made friends, laughed, smiled, and never wanted to leave when I picked him up. He loved every day, and we never had any problems or disappointments there. And, I have to say that I have very high expectations when it comes to having anyone look after my child. I know people whose kids are at other locations of Kindercare, and I get the feeling that every location has a distinct reputation. Again, I can tell you that I have no reservations about leaving my son here at the 6123 Gum Street location, right on Franconia road in Springfield . Even on those rare days when I had to leave him there for as long as 9 and a half hours, he never seemed eager to leave to go home. I consider that high praise!
