I am thankful for Goodwill Mount Vernon WA, I recycle the TVs I find out in the fields (by definition)
And when I find heart warming items I clean them up and donate them here.
I haven’t had time to enter the establishment in a while, but I will when I can.

Charles is an exceptional instructor who is helpful, detail-oriented, and genuinely positive. His calm communication style and encouraging approach create a relaxed learning environment where students can stay focused on developing essential skills.
He is always willing to answer questions and often creatively incorporates our questions into the lesson, making the learning experience even more engaging and practical. Charles is kind, patient, and highly skilled at working with students from diverse backgrounds, experience levels, cultures, and generations.
He is one of those teachers who leaves a lasting positive impression and someone you genuinely want to stay connected with long after the class is over.

New, 3 August 2026:
I'm shocked!😥
They closed suddenly and what will happen next is unknown. All the teachers have been fired, and the students are left to their own devices. There is no citizenship class anywhere else in Mount Vernon! There is a GED class at Skagit Valley College, but only in 2 subjects: math and science! Where to study other subjects is unknown🤷♀️. And those who study in college know that there are limited credits per quarter😞. And if you need both English and GED, and also have a limited time, then I sincerely sympathize, because I am the very person who was very happy with the Goodwill Center in Mount Vernon, happily went to study (and the teachers there were wonderful), and now… I beg Goodwill to open again in Mount Vernon🙏 We really need the citizenship, GED, and ABE (and SAT) prep classes. The English classes were only beginner level, but they were also really good!🙏🙏🙏
Also, I really hope that our teachers will not be left to their own devices, and at the very least, they will be given unsurpassed recommendations and highly recommended for work at other good organizations with excellent reviews, pay, and attitude...🤞

This is a wonderful place with very nice, polite and knowledgeable staff who are always trying to help and provide all the necessary information and resources.
They also support you with the necessary materials and equipment so that you don't have any problems with your studies. They inspire and give you a good mood :)
I like the teachers Mae and Charles the most =)
I highly recommend joining their English language classes and citizenship exam preparation! They provide not only interesting but also very, very useful information!
I sincerely thank the organizers and teachers for their support and I hope that they will continue to provide assistance to all those in need for many more years…
