Evergreen hit the jackpot with Principle Michaela. She’s warm, genuine, experienced and knows how to work with children of all ages and abilities

Since Ms. Monica became the school principal, the school experience has greatly improved. Our daughter is in Ms. Fatima's class, who is one of the best teachers our daughter has had at this school. She is very kind and patient, and she manages her class exceptionally well. Assistant teacher Mr. Isaac is also very attentive and calm. My daughter is thriving in their class and learning a lot.

We’ve had a wonderful experience so far in our first year at Evergreen Montessori in Kirkland. Our daughter is in Miss Katherine’s primary class and has had both Mr. Issac and Miss Sudah as assistants and loves each of them. She frequently wants to show them things she’s made at home that reflect what she is learning and tells us all about what they’ve taught her. We were previously with a national daycare and have noticed a positive shift in our daughter’s energy from being in the routine nature of the Montessori. We also appreciate the clear, frequent communication from principal Monica and the readily accessible support from Marina at the front office. The team does a great job all around and we look forward to enrolling our son their later this year as well.

My kid attended the pre-Montessori program here for about two months. While we hoped for a nurturing and engaging experience, it unfortunately fell short of expectations. My kid often became very upset upon seeing the lead teacher, who didn’t seem to show much warmth or enthusiasm toward the students. The principal also seemed rather disconnected from what was happening in the classroom, and her messages sometimes contradicted the teacher's. The overall management also appeared quite disorganized. For example, we received another family’s registration form during enrollment, which raised our concerns about how personal information is handled. Even after transferring to another school, we continued receiving classroom photos and messages tagging us, which suggested a lack of attention to detail and follow-through. Additionally, parents should be aware that although the school name includes “Montessori,” it is not an AMI- or AMS-accredited institution, and not all of the teachers hold recognized AMI credentials.

Had our child enrolled and pulled them out immediately. School never answered their phones nor did they answer our emails. Took our deposit and on the first day visited them in person to be given the excuse that their communication/technology is old and works poorly. Teacher lacked leadership and the assistant had strange customs of pickup time where she wouldn't let my child come to me until they smiled even when they had calmed down. Terribly run school!
