  Great school and lineman program. Both lineman instructors are extremely knowledgeable. Only complaint that will come from me is that there is no cdl program directly attached to the lineman program, but members of the school will help you find one and grants. This school will also make leaps and bounds to help you find a job after you graduate

  I enrolled in the electrical lineworker program and was introduced to the industry standard in machinery and safe practices. Very knowledgeable teachers and staff and opportunities to secure a jobs before exiting the program. Granted they can’t guarantee you a job but they make it very hard to fail!

  I’ve had a great experience at this school so far. The faculty and instructors are excellent, and the teachers bring years of real-world experience to the classroom and field. Their knowledge and willingness to help make the course much less intimidating, especially when learning new skills. As of now, the school has also provided the necessary equipment and tools needed for the training, which has made the learning experience even better. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone interested in becoming a lineman. The instructors, hands-on training, and overall learning environment have made it a great experience for me.

  The electric lineman course is amazing with phenomenal seasoned instructors. Very well structured and tons of hands on time to actually learn the trade for what you will encounter in real world day to day work. The school has plenty to offer from tutoring to career fairs and staff are excellent working with students for whatever school or personal situation you may face. The lineman and school are both highly recommended!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve had a really great experience in the Lineman Program at Centura College in Norfolk. From the hands-on training to the instructors, I feel like the program has done a great job preparing me for what to expect in the field. It’s definitely a challenging program, but that’s what makes it worthwhile. You’re learning skills that actually matter and that you’ll be able to use throughout your career. I especially want to recognize my instructors, Harv and Justin. Both of them have been great instructors and have made a huge difference in my experience. They actually take the time to explain things, demonstrate the proper techniques, and make sure you understand what you’re doing instead of just rushing through the material. They’re also willing to answer questions and help you improve when you’re struggling with something. You can tell that they genuinely care about their students and want to see everyone succeed. One of the things I appreciate most about Harv and Justin is the amount of real-world knowledge they bring into the classroom and the hands-on training. They don’t just teach you how to pass a test; they help you understand what it takes to work safely and effectively as a lineman. The expectations are high, but they push you because they want you to be prepared when you eventually get out into the field. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Lineman Program at Centura College in Norfolk to anyone who is serious about getting into the electrical linework industry. The program gives you hands-on experience, teaches you important safety practices, and helps build the foundation you need to start your career. Harv and Justin are excellent instructors, and I’m grateful for everything they’ve taught me so far.
