We have had a difficult experience with the owner. We overall have had very pleasant experiences with front office staff and teachers. Recently there has been a lot of teacher turnover, and we brought up some concerns with the owner. We were met with an unwillingness to compromise, and like other reviewers have mentioned, the owners are very profit oriented. Overall a very frustrating experience, as initially we were very hopeful that this would be a great school for our little one.

Our child started in one of the preschool classes at this school in January. When we toured the school with the owner she was initially going to have us be assigned to the PS1 class but we immediately fell in love with the teachers in the PS2 classroom. We made it clear at the time that we had apprehension about putting our child in the care of strangers due to traumatic care issues in the past with myself and our eldest. She assured us just how wonderful Primrose was and that she would put our child in PS2 with the teachers we liked. Things were good for the first four months. Oh, that is except for the fact that in January we paid a $330 enrollment fee and then in February they billed us another $330 for a “fall enrollment fee”. Yep, two enrollment fees in one month, totaling $660. Our child was enrolled in the half day program. The cost was initially $273 a week but increased to $282 during our stay. According to other parents the price increases are regular with some reporting four in their time there. (Just for posterity in case you find she’s charging you $400 for a half day week in a year.)
We could eat the costs though. The issues were the constant staff turnover. The rampant issue with poor staff. I’ve heard many a rumor about someone’s daughter working there and the issues they cause. (Looking at you owners). In the end, the straw that broke the camels back is that the one teacher who was consistent through our time there decided to leave. In her place, and in place of their most recent turnover, they inserted two brand new hires. Mind you, these people never actually introduced themselves to us at all. One day I was picking up my child and it was just two strangers all of the sudden and the kids were going crazy. A complete loss of control in the room. It had been bad before, when perhaps one of them was in there (it was really hard to keep track of who was in the classroom with the primary teacher there towards the end) and the kids weren’t cleaned up from lunch but were running around instead of getting ready to nap. To top it all off, the one “introduction” we had from one of the new teachers was through the app that Primrose uses. It was so riddled with grammatical errors that I’m astonished this person graduated high school, let alone college as is claimed.
We pulled our child immediately and informed the owner that as we were only one month from changing to pre-k (and we’d already bought their required clothing for it) that we wanted her to pause our payments until then. She refused, saying that she would bill us for the four weeks we aren’t there due to the initial contract. The contract that she’s failed to uphold many times. She’s forcing us to go to corporate and/or sue. Our child is not currently enrolled in the pre-k program anymore.
If you have other options for childcare in the area, I strongly advise to stay away from any business interactions with Tonya Gill, one of the franchise owners of this location. She is not a good and honest businesswoman. To be clear, we have tried to reconcile this with her many times now. She is simply a money obsessed, short sighted woman.

Amazing daycare! Ms. Falconer is the best she helped us and our daughter through hard times. I can just recommend them all teachers and staff members are great! We were in EPS2 with Ms. Falconer and Ms.Boyette both of them was extremely great with kids. I always felt my daughter is well taken care off.
Owner treats the place very profit oriented which I don’t necessary like, but the teacher retention not bad at all, so overall good.
They have lots of family events, which was amazing for our daughter!

After having our son at another school for two years, my husband and I knew it was time for a change and choosing Primrose School at Edinburgh Commons was truly one of the best decisions we've ever made.
From the leadership team to every teacher my son has had, everyone has been incredibly kind, patient, and dedicated to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment. Since starting at Primrose, my son has gained so much confidence and has grown in ways we didn't see previously.
His teachers are amazing. Their care and commitment to his success mean everything to us. Knowing he is supported, encouraged, and valued by such caring people reassures us that he is exactly where he needs to be.
I want to extend a huge Thank You to everyone at Primrose who interacts with my son. The sense of community among the leaders, staff, and teachers is truly special, and it shows in everything they do. We are so grateful to have found such an amazing school and such a caring group of educators! <3

Choosing a daycare is one of the hardest decisions a parent can make, especially as first time parents. After having a difficult experience at another daycare, we were understandably nervous about making another change. Enrolling our little one at Primrose was one of the best decisions we've made.
From the very beginning, the directors and teachers have been welcoming, caring, and genuinely invested in our baby's well being. They took the time to learn his routines, listened to our concerns, and kept us updated throughout the day. As parents, that peace of mind is invaluable.
It's obvious that the teachers truly care about the children. Our little one is always greeted with smiles, and it's comforting to know he's in an environment where he's encouraged, cared for, and genuinely loved. We also appreciate the engaging activities, special events, and thoughtful touches that make each day fun for the children and memorable for their families.
One thing that has stood out the most is how receptive the staff is to feedback. Anytime we've had a question or concern, they've listened with kindness and worked with us as partners. That level of communication has made all the difference.
We're so grateful to everyone at Primrose for making this transition such a positive one for our family. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our little one. We look forward to watching him continue to learn and grow there.
