I brought my child to a business across from this location and while unstrapping them from their seat, I couldn’t help but notice a lady taking the toddlers back in from what looked like an outdoor recess. She was constantly screaming at all of them and tugging them inside from their clothes. Some of the kids were visibly scared of her and stayed against the wall the entire time. As a daycare mom, if I saw my child subjected to such treatment, it would be the last time they see us. A shame to the early childhood education world!

We had a wonderful experience with Chesterbrook. They took excellent care of our child. All of his caregivers and teachers were kind, loving and very interested in his growth and development. They were also very diligent about monitoring his asthma. He does not exhibit typical symptoms when going through an attack but the team paid very close attention to him. Ms. Amanda and Ms. Maria were also very diligent about giving him the proper treatments and dosage and documenting each event. As a family who works in child growth and development, we would have no reservations about recommending Chesterbrook Academy to friends and family.

In Short: Safe, caring teachers, and kids excited to go to school. Would recommend any parents with pre-k and elementary kids. Details: My pre-k and 1st grader have been going to this day care since we moved here. Ms. Amanda, the principal, was one of the main drivers for our choice; her enthusiasm and open communication during the initial tour brought us in, but her constant dedication and ongoing excitement and energy keep us engaged. Even during COVID, my 1st grader has been attending Chesterbrook for his virtual lessons as he's more focused and Ms. Tricia keeps him on track. Chesterbrook has regular events such as parent's night out, summer camp, holiday celebrations, and during school activities such as soccer and dance. The school has protocols to make sure the kids are safe and during COVID, everybody has masks and temperature checks. All the teachers are excited to see the kids in the mornings and have open communications on how the kids are doing throughout the day. My kids are excited in the mornings during drop off to see their teachers and classmates.
