A friend had told me for years how amazing their experience was at Primrose School of Waco (Woodway), but it was not until my own child was there that I could truly appreciate just how special this school is. We needed care for our son in his final semester before entering kindergarten, and from the very beginning, there was something deeply comforting about dropping him off each day and feeling that he was not just being watched, but truly known, understood, and supported. Miss A and Miss J were wonderful with him. Every morning, they greeted him with real enthusiasm and helped him transition into his day. That mattered to me because those first moments can set the tone for everything that follows. Something else that stood out to me was that when we picked him up at the end of the day, they were still fully engaged with the students after a long day, with the same energy and enthusiasm they had that morning. They connected with my child on his emotional level, encouraged him as he made new friends, and helped integrate him into his community of peers. As I looked through the daily photos they sent through the Procare app, I found myself saving nearly every picture of my child. Many of them were simple, everyday moments, not necessarily the kind of photo you would normally save. But I kept saving these photos because when I looked at them, I do not first think, “Here is where he is learning his ABCs,” or “Here is where he is learning math.” I think, “Here is a moment in which my child is seen, guided, and loved.” And that makes every one of those images deeply meaningful to me. What also impressed me was how consistent that experience felt throughout the whole school. Staff greeted my son by name, and that always stood out to me. From the front desk to other staff, to custodians and the chef, the warmth felt personal and sincere. What stays with me most is this: they saw my son for who he is, and they supported him in a way that I believe will pay dividends for the rest of his life. At this stage of childhood, that kind of emotional foundation matters so much, and I truly believe this experience has given him a beautiful head start. I will gladly refer anyone I know with preschool-aged children to Primrose. My child thrived there in a short period of time, and I truly wish every child could have the kind of experience mine did. I also wish every parent could have the peace of mind that we had each day, leaving our child there knowing he was seen, guided, and loved. If you are considering Primrose, I highly encourage you to get your application in.

I want to give a huge kudos to Ms. Lewis at Primrose School of Waco/Woodway. We are relocating from out of state, and navigating childcare from afar can be overwhelming—especially since this will be my son’s first-ever daycare/school experience(!). Ms. Lewis has been nothing short of incredible throughout this process. She has patiently and promptly answered all of my many (often random!) questions over email, always with kindness, clarity, and reassurance. She truly takes the time to address my concerns and never makes me feel rushed or dismissed. Even before we’ve had the chance to formally tour the school, she has already made us feel welcomed, supported, and confident in our decision. Ms. Lewis has been an amazing point of contact and a wonderful first impression of the Primrose community. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care have made a potentially stressful transition feel so much easier. We are incredibly grateful for her support and can’t wait to meet her in person!!!

We are thankful to have found Primrose. Our daughter has been attending for approximately 9 months. She is doing well and growing emotionally and socially. We appreciate the daily communication between teachers/staff and the families regarding what the children are learning, the healthy meals and snacks they are eating, and the balanced curriculum. Finding quality childcare can be very challenging when considering all aspects; health, safety, school size, teacher retention, curriculum, etc. We feel that Primrose checks all of the boxes for a safe, loving, and supportive environment for our child. We are happy to have found a home in Primrose and thank you for caring for our child like your own!

I wouldn't recommend this daycare at all. My child was there for six months and during that time. We were informed that my child is a behavior issue. So we did everything they told us including paying for a child counselor ( which in my opinion was a waste of time) and during that time his behavior did improve. However it wasn't to their standard. Vanessa called us into a meeting and before we had the meeting I called her to ask her what the meeting was about and Vanessa stated it just a follow nothing serious or bad. Well that was a lie because she had her mind made up before the meeting started and told me my child was not a loud back at this daycare.
