We have been so impressed with our experience at this kindergarten. When our daughter first started, she was very shy in the new environment, but thanks to the nurturing staff, we have watched her blossom and truly shine. The school has provided a fantastic foundation for her academic journey, and we couldn't be happier with her progress. We also have to mention that the graduation ceremony was absolutely spectacular—a perfect ending to a wonderful year!"

Our family had a wonderful experience at Children’s Lighthouse, and I cannot recommend them enough. My daughter, Hunter, attended for several years, and my son, Tajh, started as an infant and remained there until he entered Pre-K 3. Throughout their time there, the staff consistently provided a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where both of my children could learn and grow.
The teachers always kept the children busy with meaningful, age-appropriate learning activities. Hunter especially enjoyed the field trips, special events, and hands-on experiences that made learning fun and memorable. Tajh thrived as well, learning English, Spanish, and sign language during his time there.
What truly set Children’s Lighthouse apart for our family was the exceptional level of care they provided. Tajh had a lengthy list of food allergies and severe eczema, yet the staff went above and beyond to ensure his safety and well-being every day. They carefully followed his allergy plan, often calling to confirm whether certain foods were safe for him, and they were diligent about keeping his skin moisturized throughout the day. Whenever he was sick or simply not acting like himself, they contacted me immediately. Their attentiveness gave me tremendous peace of mind as a parent.
The entire team genuinely cared about my children and treated them with kindness, patience, and love. I will always be grateful for the role they played in my children’s early years. If you’re looking for a caring, trustworthy, and enriching childcare center, I wholeheartedly recommend Children’s Lighthouse of Imperial.

I am leaving this review because parents deserve to know about serious communication and supervision concerns at this daycare.
My child suffered a significant bite injury during care that broke the skin, and I was not properly informed about the incident when it happened. What was even more concerning was that staff members appeared unaware of exactly how or when it occurred. A situation involving a child being injured should immediately be documented, communicated to parents, and closely monitored by staff and management.
As a parent, I understand that toddlers can have incidents. The issue is not simply that a bite happened — it is the lack of supervision, accountability, and communication afterward that is unacceptable. Parents trust daycare staff to maintain a safe environment and to provide immediate, clear communication when injuries occur.
I hope management takes this seriously and improves staff awareness, incident reporting procedures, and parent communication moving forward, because no parent should discover the extent of an injury without proper explanation or timely notification.

We enrolled our daughter at this daycare in December 2025 after moving to Sugar Land and leaving a daycare we loved. While the facility itself is nice, our experience with the teachers and curriculum was very disappointing.
Like many 2-year-olds, our daughter struggled with the transition, but the teachers showed very little warmth or effort to comfort her. On one occasion, she was left sitting alone crying for over an hour because she did not want breakfast after already eating at home. My wife ultimately had to call the school after seeing this on the camera feed.
The curriculum and activities also felt very weak and often seemed staged for daily photos rather than focused on actual engagement or learning.
After two weeks with no improvement, we made the decision to withdraw our daughter despite the penalty. We chose not to provide a reason for leaving, and the administration showed little interest in asking. Since enrolling her at another school, she has been thriving.
The facility looks great, but in our experience the teachers and administration seemed disengaged. I would not recommend this daycare
This place should get zero stars. For starters the director acts as if she actually cares and she really doesn’t. You can barely get a response (if any) from her when there are issues.Staff is unprofessional and honestly there is not enough staff for student to teacher ratio. That’s why children always end up with scratches, bruises, or some sort of injury because there is not adequate supervision. 16:1 and all the front staff does is sit on their behinds and not provide any assistance!! On top of that staff are allowed to be “transferred” to different classrooms after being accused of hitting a child but not fired! It’s no accusation because on more than one occasion it’s been witnessed by myself and others of a teacher shoving a child’s head to get him to go inside a classroom. But of course there will be a comment saying “we have no records of you in our system” when the truth is being told. What a joke. There’s no regard for safety and very much noticed favoritism especially for staff whose children attend the daycare. Not to mention how they just let children urinate/poop themselves that are in training process because they are too lazy and understaffed to meet needs but they make sure the pick parents pockets as often as possible !! The curriculum is also a joke. Child learns more at home than at this place !
