  Great experience at the salon! First time and it was absolutely amazing results! As an African American I was very worried about getting my hair done properly but the students do a great job and take their time which is a huge plus. They also have a very diverse range of experienced instructors who ive actually seen their work out in the community that made me feel so much better! Definitely will return for services in the future.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this school (Round Rock campus) due to the lack of communication and professionalism. I specifically called to ask whether they perform blonde color corrections to fix an issue from another salon. I was told they did, so I came in for a consultation. During the consultation, an instructor examined my hair, discussed a correction plan, provided a price quote, and scheduled me to return the following day for the service. I was also told the service could potentially be done the same day, but I chose to return the following day due to my schedule. When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed by the supervising instructor that they would not be performing the service after all. I was told the original instructor should have obtained approval first and that the school does not offer this type of correction. No one contacted me beforehand to cancel despite having my phone number and knowing I was expected to return. I drove approximately 35 minutes each way and took time off work for an appointment that had effectively been canceled without notice. When I asked why I had not been contacted, I received little explanation or concern for the inconvenience. I understand that schools may have limitations on the services they provide. My issue is not that they declined the service, but that I was told it could be done, attended a consultation, was scheduled to return, and then was turned away without any advance notice. This resulted in wasted time, unnecessary travel, and considerable frustration. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
