I am impressed with the work that Ms. Jamiee does in her classroom. I am a retired teacher and admire all that she does with the children. The elevation of learning is amazing. She's patient, wrangles kids, teaches them higher level thinking skills, takes videos and pictures for the parents.
Ms. Jamiee was teaching 1 1/2 year olds how to meaure water and how to pour water into a funnel to get the water into a smaller bottle. Wow!! Just wow!

They took a child's tempeture with a forehead thermometer and added a degree and said "the child has a fever they need to stay home" and they do this every 2 to 3 weeks. If they're using a forehead (temporal) or ear thermometer, they generally should not add a degree. Those thermometers are meant to provide an estimate directly. Reference - HealthyChildren.org
The child's temperature was 99.7 and this is in McKinney, Texas. When the tempeture is taken at home its 97.6 or 98 something.
KinderCare's published illness policy generally excludes children for a fever of 100.4°F or higher (or state-required thresholds), especially if accompanied by illness or behavior changes.

My 2 year old's 2nd daycare. I was skeptical that they don't have any cameras at all in the facility. His previous daycare had them, which brings comfort to me. I gave them my trust to watch my child.
His first incident was minor on his index finger, so I brushed it off.
Second incident, he had a big and very visible scratches near his ankle, which they didn't inform me at all. I found out at home and messaged them about it. Next day, they've told me he was standing on a old truck toy, which broke. They claimed he didn't cry, which is why they were not aware of such incident. I know for a fact that my child would cry if he was wounded in such a manner. I brushed this off once again.
Third incident is when I had pick up my son and I see his nose area was scraped pretty badly. Note, my son has never acquired such wounds before. The teacher explained that he had fallen on the concrete outside in the playground. We went home and I thoroughly inspected my son's face and the wounds goes all the way to the side of his nose bridge. This didn't make sense to me if he had fallen on a flat surface. And clearly, they did not bother to see if he had any other injuries his head. Furthermore, I found a small patch of scratches on the upper right side of his forehead, which they did not mention. My son has austism, his speech underdeveloped. Basically he can't speak in full sentences or tell me what had happened when he acquired these wounds.
After the weekend, I brought up my concerns with them. I was shocked when all they had to tell me was, "You knew from the start that we don't have cameras." "Have you seen outside?" (Yes, I've been picking up my son almost every day for the past few months. But I didn't even bother responding to this remark.) "If you don't feel safe with us with, you can leave." They never once asked if my son is okay. Or apologize for the matter. The rudeness, attitude and unprofessionalism was beyond me that I didn't even want to speak with them. Thankfully, it was his last week of being at this daycare because we were moving.
This doesn't end here. The following day, my pin code to the door to enter the daycare magically didn't work for the first time. Coincidence? I think not. They claimed they're having problems with it and informed the parents, excluding me. The audacity! I left my kid until lunch time, not even the whole day because they've completely destroyed my trust. I didn't even bother dropping him off on his last day there. Which I had paid for by the way.
Jasmine is the one running this daycare. I don't recall the lady's name who told us to leave if we didn't feel safe.
I've never written a negative review anywhere. I feel parents should be aware who they are trusting with their children. Please avoid this daycare.

First, I want to say thank you to the Director, Ms. Jasmine, for the amazing tour she gave me. As a first-time mother, I was very afraid of daycare because of everything I’ve heard and seen on social media.
She was so patient with me and answered all 1,000 of my questions. 😂 What I loved the most was how open and honest she was about what to expect, and most importantly, how she handles situations as the director. I truly appreciate that—it took away a lot of my concerns.
Thank you, Ms. Jasmine—you are amazing!
Her staff was also warm and welcoming when we arrived. They asked about my child and genuinely seemed happy about what they do, which meant so much to me.
If you’re looking for a safe, loving, and nurturing place, I highly recommend visiting Ms. Jasmine and her team. I can’t wait to start this new journey with my little one!
