  Today we picked up our granddaughter and the front door was unlocked and no one was at the front desk or office to check our ID’s. We proceeded down the hall walked pasted a worker and she did not ask for our ID. As a former high school principal requiring specific protocols this is completely unsafe and not acceptable.

  They have new office management. The lady with the blonde brown hair and soft voice speaks each time you come in, ask how your day is going , the lady with the darker hair will stand by the door and not open it, knowing you’re a parent coming to pick your child up, won’t speak when you walk in, or even acknowledge you. Change is sometimes required, but please find your voice when parents walk in. Regardless of the day you’re having.

  We most definitely love children’s light house of Princeton from the Director to the school cook everybody always has a smile on their face and it’s always good morning friends they don’t ever miss any kids that walk in . When you walk in your just feel right at home everybody makes you feels so welcomed and loved we appreciate everybody at Chidlerns light house if you haven’t decided on a daycare yet you most definitely need to check out this daycare

  Love this pre-school/daycare! I really appreciate how the teachers take great care of children! Also the director/ admin they are so humble and understanding!

  I know the staff is doing their best, and I recognize how demanding infant care can be. However, I do think it’s important for parents to understand the approach used here when it comes to sleep. If you prefer your baby to be rocked or soothed to sleep, this may not be the best fit. It was communicated to me later on that rocking is typically only done when infants are very young and first transitioning into daycare. As they get older, the expectation shifts toward independent sleep and self-soothing. We later realized our 4-month-old was falling asleep on his playmat from exhaustion, which is not typical for him at home. While I understand that some families are comfortable with a self-soothing approach—and I respect that—this was not something we personally felt comfortable with, especially at his age. In hindsight, I wish I had asked more detailed questions about sleep practices before enrolling.
