  If you're planning to enroll your child, please read. A daycare worker by the name of Christopher was frustrated while working here and grabbed my 4 yr old child up, and held him up to his eye level to have a disciplinary discussion with my son. My child comes home, explains his fear of this teacher so his mother and I confront the situation. The daycare worker (Christopher) explains to the school director and myself that he became frustrated (his words) with my son and yes did grab him & realized after grabbing my child up & him becoming scared (being picked up in this manner) that he had made a big mistake and should have not done this! After hearing he became frustrated and resulted in forceful behavior to a minor, I ask the director is this behavior they tolerate? She replied absolutely not, so I ask is this person still employed? Her reply was "we still have to investigate and people above me will make that decision" (the incident was brought to their attention Wednesday 09/23/2026, it is now Monday 09/28/2026 and no one has done a single thing) This establishment does not have your child's safety at heart, nor do they care to make you feel that they make this a priority. I have written a report to Texas Health & Human services Commission for their lack of care to this situation.

  We’ve had our almost 4 year old son at Xplor McKinney for about a month now and I’m so glad we made the switch! He learns so much during the day and I really feel like he’s being prepared for kindergarten already. He gets to do all kinds of fun activities like making homemade pizza, science experiments, splash days with water slides, and parades. There are school pets that he looks forward to seeing and a huge outdoor play area plus a great indoor option for those hot afternoons. The teachers have been very loving and are experienced. At drop off and pick up it’s always calm and welcoming. The office staff are very communicative and friendly as well which I so appreciate, I always know what’s going on for the day or what’s upcoming. It feels like a family atmosphere not a daycare center. Highly recommend!

  I am thrilled to share my experience with Ms Pam at Xplor mckinney. Ms. Pam has an exceptional ability to connect with each family. She takes the time to get to know the children and their individual needs, making everyone feel valued and important. One of the most remarkable aspects of her leadership is her willingness to go above and beyond. She has implemented various programs and events that truly enrich the preschool experience. For example, her organization of family events and quick replies to emails not only fosters a strong sense of belonging but also equips parents with valuable resources and support. Moreover, Ms Pam is always available to address any concerns or questions we have, no matter how small. Her open-door policy creates a welcoming atmosphere where families feel comfortable reaching out. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the well-being of our children and the needs of their families. Her proactive approach during challenging times, such as navigating transitions or addressing individual needs (especially in autistic children), showcases her commitment to ensuring that every child thrives. She consistently seeks feedback from parents and actively incorporates suggestions to improve the preschool experience. Her leadership is further complemented by Ms Christine, who shares the same passion for fostering a positive environment. Together, they form a dynamic team that truly enhances the preschool experience. Christine is always approachable and brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the table. Her initiatives, like interactive family workshops and themed events, have enriched our community and provided valuable opportunities for parents to engage with their children’s learning. In short, Ms Pam and Ms Christine exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated educator and leader. Their passion for early childhood education and their unwavering support for families make Xplor a truly special place. I am so grateful for their guidance and care, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking a preschool that prioritizes community and personal connection.
