  We love Primrose! All three of my boys attend and we have had a really great experience. Not only are the teachers and staff very caring, but they are setting a foundation for elementary school with a mixture of a Montessori and traditional approach. We are grateful for the entire team!

  We cannot say enough good things about Primrose School of Kelliwood. They have been part of our family’s journey since 2016, first with our older daughter and now with our younger daughter. Choosing Primrose was truly one of the best decisions we have made for our daughters and our family. The school has provided a warm, safe, dependable, and nurturing environment where our children could learn, grow, and feel cared for every day. As our youngest daughter now prepares to start kindergarten, we are leaving with full hearts and so much gratitude. The teachers, director, and entire staff have consistently shown so much love, patience, guidance, and kindness over the years. We will always be thankful for the care, support, and wonderful memories Primrose has given our family, and we highly recommend them to any family looking for a loving and dependable place for their children.

  We love being a primrose family! We have been a part of the primrose community for 6 years and have enjoyed every age and stage and classroom thanks to the wonderfully caring staff. We have full confidence that our children are being prepared for the next step in their education and have been cared for kindly along the way.

  This school is absolutely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a preschool. The staff is friendly, caring, loving and trustworthy. The curriculum is wonderful. The school runs in order with proper safety, processes and procedures. My child has learned so much and has such an enthusiasm and love for learning because of Primrose staff. Even through classroom transitions or unpredictable toddler meltdowns, the staff was always accommodating, caring, and communicative. Highly recommend.

  I try to rise above, move on, and not write negative reviews – but I saw a similar story of another child on the review for this place. We had no issue with Kelliwood Primrose for nearly a year (and prior years at other locations with same owner). We started back to daycare in Oct 2020 and we pulled him out Nov 2021. My child always had a good attitude about school, and we NEVER had any comments good or bad from the staff. COVID lock down so I never went in or even met his teachers. When the Fall semester started, and new teacher assigned in addition to a teacher he had the year before - it was nearly immediate change in my son. He was very hesitant to go to school and became very anxious. As he was just turned three years old and started potty training – I at first thought Potty Training was to blame. He became a different child all together and would cry Sunday nights when he would ask if he had to go to school. His reason was always firm and consistently “teachers is mean to me.” Eventually we stared to get calls about behavior problems and to come pick him up…Repeatedly…to the point they hardly had him at school. Some of the outlandish tales this school tried to convince me my 3 year old was doing. Telling lies way beyond his comprehension and physical actions beyond his tiny body. Then they started to try to turn it around on my family - they wanted to know what was happening at home and if anything had changed. Then tried to get us to us some early education person of their pick. We declined and started him at family behaviorist doctor’s office that our family has used for 25 years. Primrose director did not take kindly to that. I found a new daycare in early October but they could not take him until after Christmas (8 weeks away). My son finally started throwing himself on the entry way floor because they would not let us in, and they would not pick him up, he would just lay there crying. It was 45 minutes of this. I ended up picking him up the Friday before the week of Thanksgiving (2 ½ months total with this classroom) and had him at home with great family upheaval and rescheduling. That last day they had forced him onto the potty where he cried and got off (or fell off) resulting in him peeing allover himself and I believe the teacher. That day I had enough and withdrew him and told him he never had to go back to that place – he gave me the biggest hug. He was so anxious to start the new school, it was weeks of him being worried and crying about “mean teachers.” After the first day he like the new school, and two weeks in he is my old boy again. He introduced me to his new teacher as “This is my nice teacher!” and I asked about the second teacher in the room, he said “She is nice too.” They have had no issues with my child or him going potty. The new place is open to parents in the building and has cameras. Trust your gut parents.
