- ATAnna TempleJun 19, 20261.0If you are trying to recertify and are already familiar with the field this is probably fine. I came in brand new to the field hoping to get prepared to become a quality EMT. I put my effort into the online portion, but the skill days were awful. I had not even touched a life pack or pulse oximeter. The teacher just spent 8 hours playing YouTube videos that Ive already seen and telling unrelated war stories. My instructor was late and obviously trying to kill time both skill days. We ran through 1 scenario between both days. My classmates were also upset that we had spent months preparing and $2000 on a school thats supposed to train you, to only watch a fictional emergency show for most of our only in person learning time.
