I really wanted Green Space Nature Preschool to be the right fit for our family because the concept—a nature-based, outdoor learning environment—truly aligned with my values. But sadly, our experience was horrible. Like many other. Im grateful that my son could talk and tell me what was happening.
My son attended from February 2024 to October 2025, and during that time, multiple safety concerns arose. Several times, I would witness my son come home upset—he told me that other children were hitting him, sometimes right in front of me, and none of the teachers stopped them from hitting my son. The lack of response was shocking. There was also a heat-related medical incident—my son was left without water multiple times. And one time despite showing signs of distress he threw up and was a heat case. They had no idea what to do. They are not prepared for medical emergencies in first aid the kids get to play with hammers. The least they should be trained in emergency aid. And on top of that, the staff turnover was relentless, making it impossible for kids to feel secure.
I know I’m not alone—multiple parents I’ve spoken with also left because of these same concerns. I still believe this school could be something special, but the issues run from upper management all the way down. As a parent, I can’t ignore these risks,
As a parent, I can’t ignore these risks, and I feel it’s my responsibility to share this openly. I hope that the leadership will take these concerns seriously and make real changes, but until then, I can’t, in good conscience, recommend Green Space. If you value consistent care, safety, and responsive leadership, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your child’s preschool experience.
Im talking cps and police threats from the school after addressing an issue with the school. I dont take this review lightly. I only care about childrens saftey. For the saftey of the students this school needs to be shut down. And the whole administration needs to be investigated. I hope that one day an actual safe nature school could be available to our area.

I had high hopes for Green Space, I'm a public teacher and have a degree in early education. I was thrilled to find a place I thought aligned to my beliefs for child development, but it ultimately fell short. The director, Amanda, is unresponsive and dismissive, which sets the tone for the entire operation. Communication is inconsistent, and the operation is disorganized.
The handbook lacks clarity. Policies contradict each other, and important information is often passed by "word of mouth." I liked most of the teachers; they genuinely cared and kept my son safe. However, the constant turnover made it difficult to establish a stable environment. My son had three different lead teachers in just five months.
Safety concerns and inconsistencies. It was revealed to me, quietly of course, that there had been no fire drills during my son's time there. The hours changed from 7:30-6 to 9–4 unless paying extra. I also think there were time that the ratio wasn't correct.
While I appreciate the efforts of some staff members, the leadership and organization issues make Green Space a place to avoid. I wasted time, money, and peace of mind. If you value stability and clear communication, look elsewhere.
The Texas licensing page says that they provide snacks and the handbook says that they provide snacks. Apparently that's only the toddler class and older.
And my final complaint, I sent an email to the owner at the end of October, three months after my child had started there, expressing all of my concerns and feedback. She never responded.
Now that I have experienced a different daycare, one right across the street, I see how much Green Space was lacking.

Offers the best Summer programs. The children learn STEM in a nature environment. They also receive free snacks during the day. The cost is the most affordable and the camp goes all day 7-6. So glad my son isn’t just playing with electronics or legos in doors all Summer. He learns so much in a fun way!
