Transmountain Early College High School, commonly referred as TMECHS (T-Mex), was established in 2008, and offers a unique opportunity for El Paso students. It combines a rigorous high school curriculum with in-person college courses from El Paso Community College, allowing motivated students to earn an associate degree in multidisciplinary in science alongside their high school diploma – all within four years. Along side the dual credit opportunities, TMECHS offers a wide range of Advanced Placement courses that push the student even further! Students earn at a minimum 60 college credit hours! This innovative program fosters academic excellence and prepares graduates for seamless transition to four-year universities or STEM careers.
