We’ve had all three of our kids there over the years. There have been some really great teachers who went above and beyond and built the kind of warm connections that matter. Those ones made a real difference. But a few things have gotten harder to ignore. Teacher turnover has been constant, so it’s tougher to find longer-term experienced teachers and the staff who stay are often stretched thin. Classrooms have also gotten fuller than we expected (basically maxing state ratios, especially in the toddler rooms). Watching a teacher try to care for 10 toddlers at once while changing diapers, talking to parents, and keeping everyone safe makes you feel genuinely bad for them. At this price point you’d hope for lower ratios and more consistent teachers. The cost is well over $2k a month now and has gone up steadily every year, which would be fine if the experience was improving, but it hasn’t felt that way. The ownership team also seems stretched thin across multiple locations they’re prioritizing for staffing and training (like Easton Park). The same central team manages several schools now, so there just isn’t much time or attention left for Westlake. None of these issues feel unfixable, but at this point we’re ready to look at other options. The individual teachers can be wonderful, yet the bigger staffing, consistency, and cost-to-experience gaps have us searching for alternatives.

Recently toured and I was truly impressed with the personalization, attention to detail, professionalism, and security of this campus. Jasmine did a fantastic job showcasing the facility and the team culture. I work in big tech managing global teams- especially appreciated the mobile app they use here to communicate with families. They showed examples, unsolicited, of how they leverage to keep parents appropriately engaged, which was encouraging. The extended pickup and drop off times (until 6:30pm) are ideal for parents with executive level requirements or careers that at times can require long hours. Great experience touring!

Primrose Westlake is the ONLY place I would trust my young children. The teachers are exceptional, caring, and well prepared. The administrative staff goes above and beyond from programming through activities, theme days, holidays, and ways to bring everyone across the whole school together. And the families themselves are warm, welcoming, and create a genuine community energy that has been missing at other daycares we've enrolled at. We switched to Primrose due to issues at our last daycare and my only regret is that we didn't switch sooner. Primrose feels like an extension of our family and a trusted partner. Best parenting decision we've made in a long time.
