  I worked with Dmo in the 102 program, and he was an outstanding instructor. He took the time to explain every concept in detail and adapted each lesson to focus on the areas where I needed the most help, which made every class incredibly valuable. Between his technical guidance and professional mentorship, I saw a significant improvement in both my DJ skills and my confidence behind the decks throughout the program. I highly recommend working with Dmo if you’re looking for an instructor who is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in your growth.

  Went to DUB Academy for the summer to attend DJ 101. Had a great experience throughout each session. D Mo gives you the space to ask any questions you may have, along with having the patience and compassion to guide you throughout the non-linear learning process. D Mo is very encouraging and has a deep commitment to making sure his students have all the resources and tools necessary to achieve your goals. I plan on coming back for more classes.

  I took the Scratch 1-on-1 course at Dub Academy, and I can honestly say it has been a game changer for me as a wedding DJ. After stepping away from DJing regularly for nearly 25 years and then getting back into it, I realized I needed to sharpen my technical skills and rebuild my confidence behind the decks. DJ Grip was fantastic. He really helped me improve my scratching, transitions, timing, creativity, and overall confidence during live sets. The instruction was professional, encouraging, and tailored to where I was in my journey. Whether you’re brand new to DJing or an experienced DJ looking to level up your skills, I highly recommend Dub Academy. Great environment, great people, and real hands-on learning that translates directly into your performances. Much respect to the whole team.

  Shoutout to the staff over here at Dub Academy. I came for an event and the atmosphere was great. The vibes were high that night and really matched the energy of the environment altogether. Then I went back again with some of the DJs I know and the staff gave them a full tour of their space and showed them some pretty cool stuff. Shoutout to Miles and to DJ Grip for sure for always being on top of their game and doing great things here in Austin.

  I took classes in protools and LaMaschine here and had a blast. The proper who work here were super knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Very recommended.
