  By far the best private school in the area. Teachers are great, facilities are the best. Kids really like there teachers. Great academics, great uniforms.

  The preschool set a very high standard and deserves 5 stars. Ms. Erica and the preschool teachers were kind, patient, and caring, and our child always felt safe in their care. She set an exemplary standard for preschool education. Sadly, our experience in elementary school was so disappointing that, if I could rate it separately, I would give it 0 stars. Unfortunately, our experience changed completely after the transition to elementary school, especially kindergarten. We thought we were enrolling our child in a summer program to help with the transition, but instead it felt more like a boot camp for young children than a supportive introduction to elementary school. Within just two weeks, children were expected to behave like much older kids. The same children we had known to be calm and kind suddenly became rude and passing mean comments and bullying appeared to be a recurring issue. The principal/director ms.Liu was one of the biggest disappointments. Rather than listening to parents' concerns with an open mind, she often came across as defensive and dismissive and rude. When we raised concerns about supervision, we were told there were 60 children and it was not possible to supervise every child. We were also told that if our child did not report an incident to a teacher immediately at school, but instead shared it with us after coming home, there was little the school could do. Expecting every 5-year-old to immediately report bullying or inappropriate behavior is unrealistic. Many young children only process upsetting experiences once they are home and feel safe talking with their parents. Even after multiple complaints the school hardly did anything to stop bullying.Until the last day of the school my child had been bullied and the school hardly did anything about it. The teacher frequently yelled at children and use mean and rude words to kids.They seemed to have concerns about behaviors that are completely normal for children just entering kindergarten. Children were expected to hug teachers, were yelled at for looking at a classmate's worksheet when they did not understand the directions, and were reprimanded for sitting down to rest during recess. Even behaviors such as carefully observing a lesson by keeping a finger on the lips, watching attentively with wide eyes, or taking a moment to process instructions seemed to be treated as problems rather than age-appropriate learning behaviors. And this school is not for curious,creative kids! My child was yelled by his teacher for using a different color than the once she expected. These are treated as mistakes. And they care the least about the kids. the kids were made to play during scorching heat Wave middle of the day during summer camp because it was on their schedule. While the teachers stand in the shade and chatting among themselves . This school treats kids as some robots and machines! Kindergarten should be a place where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn from their mistakes. Instead, the overall environment felt intimidating rather than nurturing, leaving our child anxious instead of confident. The school seems to take pride in its academic rigor and almost monopolizes the conversation around phonics, as though its approach is the definitive way to teach reading. But phonics is not a foolproof, one-size-fits-all method. Children can catch up academically. What is harder to undo is the emotional impact of a negative school experience—loss of confidence, anxiety, and a fear of making mistakes.

  Our early three-year-old attended Challenger School’s summer program for about six weeks (June through July), and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The enrollment process was thorough and required quite a bit of documentation. While it initially felt detailed, we came to appreciate it because it demonstrated the school’s strong commitment to child safety, compliance, and ensuring they had all the necessary emergency and family contact information. Before enrollment, we attended an open house tour and were then invited for an observation day. After that, we received confirmation that our son had been accepted into the summer program. We really liked this thoughtful approach, as it ensured the program was a good fit for both the child and the school. Since our son had previously attended daycare, we were concerned that transitioning to a more structured academic environment might be challenging. Thankfully, the opposite was true. He genuinely enjoyed going to school every day and was excited to share what he had learned. We noticed him singing new songs, talking about phonics, recognizing shapes in new ways, and demonstrating many new skills he had picked up in class. It was wonderful to see how much he was learning while still having fun. The teachers and administration were incredibly supportive and approachable throughout the program. When our son wasn’t eating well during lunch, they welcomed us to observe him during mealtime. Erica took the time to sit down with us, discuss his eating habits both at school and at home, and work together on a practical plan to help him become more comfortable eating independently at school. We implemented some of those suggestions at home and soon began seeing positive improvements. We truly appreciated this collaborative approach. Toward the end of the summer program, we also had a parent-teacher meeting to discuss his progress. The conversation was thoughtful, all of our questions were answered, and it was clear that everyone was focused on supporting our son’s individual development. We appreciated how open the staff was to making small adjustments based on his needs. Overall, we felt that our son was genuinely cared for, happy, safe, and continuously learning. Our experience with Challenger School exceeded our expectations, and it has given us great confidence as we look forward to enrolling him in the regular school program.

  We had a disappointing experience with this daycare/enrollment process. During the initial discussions, we were told that we would be able to visit the classroom and evaluate the environment before making a final decision. However, this step was not properly provided as described. The actual experience did not match what was communicated to us at the time of enrollment. Despite this, the administration is now enforcing application and late fees $100 + $75 and They’re adding every month late fee as $35 late fee and the classes starts in August (5 months ahead), even though our concerns stem from miscommunication and unmet expectations on their side. There was no flexibility or willingness to fairly address the situation. It’s frustrating to see policies being enforced without considering the customer experience or how the process was handled. Transparency and clear communication are very important when it comes to childcare decisions, and unfortunately, that was lacking here. I would advise other parents to thoroughly clarify all terms and processes before enrolling to avoid similar issues.

  Challenger School has been an amazing experience for our family. They focus on building strong oral and written skills from a very early age, and what’s truly impressive is how naturally children learn — they don’t even realize how much they’re absorbing. The school places a strong emphasis not just on academics like English and math, but also on discipline, values, and ethics, which really shows in the children’s overall development. My child has loved going to school from day one, which speaks volumes about the environment and teaching approach. We’ve been so happy with our experience that we’re excited to have our second child start there as well.
