  My experience with the WIOA program was absolutely worth it. Although the approval process took about 4–5 months, it opened the door to a great opportunity. The HVAC training which is separate from WIOA, was hands-on, high quality, and fully prepared me to step confidently into the field. The job placement support was a major advantage and helped connect me with real opportunities after completion. Highly recommend this path to anyone serious about changing their future.

  I met Texas Trade Careers at an event in Austin and they helped me get free tuition and a free laptop to attend their HVAC class from a grant. They helped me through the grant process and it did take about 6 weeks but was easy worth it after I got started and they got me a job as a technician in like 5 days.
