Committed to preparing courageous leaders, the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work equips students to transform social work practice, policy, research, and education in a community-engaged and inclusive environment. We offer a variety of degree programs, including a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), and Doctorate in Social Work (PhD), as well as the Professional & Continuing Education program to help social workers best serve their clients and communities. By building and developing collaborative partnerships, we uphold our mission to understand, prevent, and ameliorate complex social problems with innovative approaches that promote social justice.
