I’ve had a great experience attending AIM Philly. The hands-on training and access to real aircraft equipment make a huge difference in how you learn the material. The instructors bring real-world aviation experience to the hangar, and the career services team has been incredibly helpful with networking for post-graduation and landing me a job. If you’re willing to put in the work, this school gives you the exact skills you need to pass your FAA exams.

I just graduated from this school and had a great experience overall. The instructors and front office staff were always helpful and supportive, even taking time during lunch to help students. I had my ups and downs like at any school, but at the end of the day, it’s up to the student to put in the work.

Update: the FAA did a surprise visit last week due to all the complaints. Rumor has it the complaints went straight to Oklahoma, not the local FAA field office, so not only is the school in trouble, but the local FSDO is being held accountable for letting it get so bad. The school has 30 days to come up with an action plan. There is a very real possibility this school might get shut down. Highlight of the FAA visit: instead of seeing students working on projects, they found a giant bouncy house for adults. This school exists as a predatory gateway to an industry that they know nothing about..... The school was just recently purchased by a bunch of Wallstreet investors looking to maximize profit, is managed by an administration that have zero aviation/industry background and don't understand the career they're attempting to sell, will admit as many people as possible to get that government money flowing in, admissions will tell you whatever you need to hear to get that signature, but after they get you in, may or may not have an instructor hired and ready to teach you. If you get a good teacher they may suddenly just quit. If you get a teacher that never taught the class before, still expect billing to come and make sure your account is fully paid. It's supposed to be a tech school, but they always always always never buy the things you need for the class, so expect to do $60k worth of worksheets instead. Fully expect to teach yourself, not actually learning the material, but just by memorizing the right answers on the test and having no clue what the right answers even mean. This school is a disaster to anyone that actually takes their education seriously.
