Folcroft Kindercare is an amazing center. I've had issues with a previous director for years, once the new director, Christine, came along, everything has been amazing. My children has been at Kindercare for many years and I finally feel appreciated at this center. My children's needs are being met, my concerns are being taken seriously and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Christine and Folcroft Kindercare!
We have had a wonderful experience with Folcroft KinderCare. At first, it was a little difficult for us to find common ground, but I think we worked through everything together, and I am truly grateful for that. A special thank you to Christine Kyle (Center Director), Alicia Ploughman (District Leader), and LaToya Johnson (Assistant Director) for their kindness, patience, and support. They genuinely care about the children and their familiesš.
I also want to thank all of the teachers and staff who work hard every day to create a safe and loving environment for our children. And I have to mention that my 1.5-year-old son Muhammad completely fell in love with his teacher, Alissaš„¹. Every morning, he is excited to see her, and as parents, there is nothing more comforting than knowing your child is happy and feels safe.
Thank you, Folcroft KinderCare, for everything you do. We highly recommend this center to other families.š«¶

Scheduled a tour last week, confirmed the time. Showed up for the tour 15 minutes early. Waited outside for 10 mins, attempted to call the center- no answer, rang 2 different door bells multiple times - no answer. Finally a guy walked buy inside so I knocked and he rudely threw up his hand at me gesturing ā1 minuteā and never came back. Eventually a lady came, let me in and I told her I was there for a tour. She never once checked ID, just let me into a center with a bunch of kids. I went to the bathroom quickly and came back and no one was in sight for the tour. I walked out. The center itās self seems disorganized and poorly ran. It was filthy upon appearance as well. If I could give zero stars I would. I would stay far away from this center and others under this name if this is how they are ran.

Disappointed, my daughter is 4 years old and will be 5 this June. She has been attending this center for 4 years and 1 month. We have paid a total of $66,966.70 cents cash during her time there. My daughter has been at this location longer than 80% of the staff there. Being diagnosed with autism at the age of 3 years old came with some challenges. During these last couple of months my daughter started demonstrating demand avoidance and having melt downs that are not easily manageable. The current director expressed this to me and told me that if I did not get a wrap-around for her she can not attend there anymore. I spoke with my IEP team and they expressed to me that it is against the law to expel/suspend a child with a disability. We had a meeting and myself and the IEP team explained to the director that their observation did not call for a 1-1 24/7 and that they are working on getting my daughter extra support. They told the director it was up to kindercare to provide additional support if they felt like they needed this. The director said that kindercare is a private company and they do not have to accommodate special needs children. Being disappointed in her response and not having the 1-1 24/7 support I had no choice but to pull my daughter out. The director did not offer additional staff, did not offer to bring in sensory toys, did not offer to work with the IEP team to reduce triggers, did not apologize for her staff keeping my daughter speech device in her cubby instead of beside her at all times, the staff did were not attending her therapy sessions so they can implement them in the class room when they are gone. The director told me that they do not substitute meals so if my daughter doesn't eat lunch she has to wait until snack time and we could not bring in food that she likes. At the meeting the director brought up a doctor's note to bring food inside the center after she told me there was not an option for me to bring in outside food. After all the money we gave to this company we were not offered any additional support. The director went off of emotions and personal preferences and her best interest was not in support even after she was told the center will be reported by two legal team members on my daughter's IEP team. This can not continue to go on. If this review helps the next child with autism get support then my goal is accomplished. Kindercare let your response be change in policy and in actions not a āI am sorry that this happened to you responseā treat our kids in this community better as they are ALL our future and they ALL need support.
