This program has been such a life saver for us. We would never be able to do all the things we needed to do or take time off for family emergencies without missing work. The teacher care greatly for their students. They are always talking about how they can help their students more. My son was in brick and mortar before we started connections and once we switched, he became my happy little boy that he use to be before starting. We have gone on so many field trips all over the state with this school and love seeing my kids having fun with their classmates. Cant wait for the field trips next year.

I have a 1st grader and a 4th grader. Don't listen to all the one star reviews (they probably don't know how to work a computer). The admin helped me everyday to make sure my enrollment process went smoothly. This was my first year with them and I had transition from another online school and this one is my favorite by far. The classes are done online and you have to have an adobe account to use adobe connect. I've heard that some teachers use zoom though. The teachers are the best my kids have had. They're kind and they stay after class to help anyone with homework and they even add extra time out of class for tutoring. The curriculum is amazing. My 4th grade had learned the fundamentals of physics and basic biology. She even learned a lot about Native American history and did a report about them. They give you extra material in case your student needs more practice in an area so you can use. The homework is a bit heavy at first but it gets lighter mid way through the year. She never got behind and she also did extra stuff out of class like gymnastics, swim, soccer and football. There is time you just have to be organized in the beginning of the year (and look at their assignments at least the day before they look at them so you know what to do). The field trips were fun as well. My kids got to meet their classmates at parks and aquariums. I do wish they had a bit more field trips though. This is going to be my kids school until they choose otherwise.

Great curriculum and teachers but… Not meant for one parent with more than one young kid. You definitely need more than one adult around to help because the homework is a lot to keep up with, better not have any work or hobbies either because keeping up homework and class work turns into a full time job.

Thought this school would be the best option during Covid and boy was I wrong. My son played catch up on all the homework they assigned before he started And is doing the classes now that are new, he has 50 as of today of work he has done that has not been graded at all and his grade went from a 74% to a 41% because they don’t seem to grade any work! It is a waste of time! Only issuing one computer per family is ridiculous, the school districts offer a computer for every student. Rip off of a school!!

There is only one way to describe this place- horribly unorganized, uninformed and uncaring. I worked since June 2020 to get both my daughters enrolled thinking that this would be a better option for my daughters especially since one of my daughters can’t attend public schools during COVID. Not knowing if school would be remotely done I that this would be a better option. I was so wrong! Here it is 9/8/20 and still my daughters couldn’t log in or attend their live welcome classes they don’t issue more than one laptop if you have multiple children trying to attend, because they only issue one laptop per family. I really don’t understand that because they are funded through the school district and if your child goes to your school in district they EACH receive a chrome book right, so if they’re collecting the funds for each child in your home including the funds for laptops why shouldn’t each child receive a laptop especially since they don’t allow chrome books to be used? NO ONE could answer this question. So I now called their local schools to enroll my daughters back in they informed me that they NEVER received any notification my children would not be attending. Thank goodness this wasn’t as difficult as I thought it was going to be. PLEASE DO YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILDREN A FAVOR DO NOT ENROLL! They don’t know what they’re doing and don’t care how frustrating it is for the children or the parent.
