Preschool
Several things separate A Child's World from all other preschools and child care centers.
We are led by a team of experts in child development, education, family systems, parenting and mental health. We also have several teachers with bachelors or masters degrees. Our program was developed by Owner, Dr Art Willans, to provide a learning experience for young children that is positive, engaging, and optimal for development.
What will my child be learning?
Teachers work on a weekly basis to create activities and lessons tailored to the needs and development of children in their class. Our curriculum follows Nevada Early Childhood and Pre-K Standards. Lessons are made to teach shapes, colors, letter & number recognition, early literacy and

- ACA CansinoSep 17, 20241.0This facility has multiple complaints about the mistreatment of the children that attend. Teachers yell at kids, grab them by their arms aggressively, and etc. while in their care. There was one kid recently who even walked off the facility and they didn’t even notice the kid was gone. Do not take your child here! Seems like they like the pay more than being actual teachers and being kind to their kids!

- TMTracy MercadoJul 18, 20245.0My daughter has been coming to A Childs World for 2 years, and we love it here! Miss Emma was her first teacher, and we had such a great experience . My daughter learned so much. My daughter is older now and has moved up classes, so I've gotten the opportunity to meet more of the teachers and staff, and it has been such a pleasure. Miss Yvonne, the director Assistant, is amazing and has a huge heart. I have never met such an amazing and caring person like her. I am so blessed to have her because when work can be stressful, she always receives you with a smile, and that means so much to me. Miss Shelby Jannahs teacher just has a true passion for working with the kids, and it shows. Miss Angelina is always so happy and uplifting when we walk in the building. We love it here!
