  We LOVE Kindercare and are SO grateful they have a summer camp for school aged kiddos! While we haven’t been there long, I can confidently say this daycare is beyond 5 stars. For starters, our kiddo is autistic and you’d be surprised how difficult it is to find a care situation for him outside of the school district for the summer. Other area daycares would have certain “requirements” that our kiddo didn’t meet or would say they had openings during the tour but would then put us on a waitlist despite being told there were openings. When we toured Kindercare, we shared some of our concerns for our kiddo’s specific needs and they were met with instant understanding, accommodation, and flexibility. They even let us bring in our kiddo beforehand to meet his teacher, see his classroom, and get used to the space. And every day since he has LOVED going to “Summer Camp”. He is the youngest and seemingly the only neurodivergent kiddo in the class (though I don’t know this for certain) and that doesn’t seem to matter AT ALL. He is loved and cared for in the exact same way and given all the opportunities of the other kids. Plus, he can say no thank you to things he might not like and that’s fine too and as we were on the tail end of potty training, they are open and willing to support our efforts with potty reminder timers specific to him. The photos and updates throughout the day are also AMAZING. Seeing our kiddo so happy to run into a space that he forgets to say bye is the best feeling. It’s also incredible that it isn’t “Oh here comes the autistic kid” it’s just a normal part of their day for him to walk through the door like all the other kids. As an autism mama I couldn’t ask for much more than the welcoming, inclusive environment of Kindercare and we hope to come back next summer too! Thank you for welcoming our family and our kiddo with the warmest and most open arms.

  Just wanted to give a huge shout out to the team at South Reno KinderCare! As a first time mom, I was super worried about which daycare to take my son but KinderCare has been taking such good care my boy! Daily updates, pictures, what food he is eating, nap updates etc. Mrs. Lassen is the sweetest most done to earth teacher & Kayce loves her! He smiles the moment he arrives to when I pick him up! His dad & I wanna give huge thanks!

  Our two kids age 2 and 4 have attended daycare at South Reno KinderCare for almost a year. They are well cared for and well fed with the center provided snacks and lunches. They have attended a few daycare‘s over the years since we’ve moved a few times and this is definitely one of the better daycares. My son gets his normal bumps, bruises and occasional brawl with other little boys, but that’s no different than any other daycare and that age. Both children are learning and developing well and love their teachers and classmates. Best things about KinderCare: all food and diapers are included, indoor gym for inclement weather, caring teachers, and great hours of operation for working parents.

  Our infant attends this daycare. He they have been helping him develop and learn. I love using their app to watch him through out the day with his updates.
