  I cannot express enough gratitude for the team at Tropicana South Summerlin KinderCare. From the very beginning, they were incredibly nurturing and caring, literally holding my hand throughout the entire onboarding process, which made a world of difference for our family. One of the most helpful aspects of this center is that they accept child subsidies. This was a huge support for us as foster parents and made high-quality care accessible when we needed it most. The developmental support my foster child received here has been life-changing. When they first started, there were significant delays in both language and gross motor skills due to prior neglect. The teachers and staff noticed these gaps immediately and jumped into action: - Her vocabulary and communication skills have developed tremendously. I truly believe she wouldn’t be where she is today without the dedicated care and support of this team. - The staff was so attentive in recognizing physical delays and worked consistently to help them catch up and thrive. I am so incredibly grateful to KinderCare for their expertise and heart. If you are looking for a place that truly cares about a child's holistic growth, I cannot recommend them enough!

  As with most parents, we have toured multiple businesses to find the perfect one for our child. Although there were some that were closer in distance, the tuition was less, or they had more amenities such as camera access in the classroom- all seemed great but the deciding factor was the genuine care I felt from the Director, Mrs. Spiridon, during our tour. I loved the fact that she knew her center firsthand and it didn't feel like she was reading from a script. She felt so personable and already felt like family from the very beginning. We also appreciate the cleanliness, how organized they are and most of all, the teachers who care for our child. The teachers are so nice and our child feels comfortable with them. We don't need camera access and don't mind driving a little further or paying a bit more cause we feel safe leaving our child in their care and happy to be part of their Kindercare Family.

  I give this place five stars because it’s perfect for my little one. It’s not too big of a school and the teachers are very kind. They have great teamwork. Easy to talk to and always greeting with a smile. They are also organized in what they do. They send me updates about my little one throughout the day. Which is a big plus for me. I like that there is a special code that is given to the parents to enter so that not just anyone can walk in. Safety is a must for our little one. Once you step inside it is very inviting. Greeted with the staff and artwork on the walls from the students as you walk through and down the hallway. The classrooms are spacious and clean. Good job to the staff for maintaining cleanliness. I have no negative things to say about this place. I highly recommend for any to enroll their little ones into this location.

  Ongoing Billing Issues – Parents Be Aware I’m sharing our experience with KinderCare (Tropicana Summerlin, Las Vegas) to warn other families who rely on the Nevada DWSS Child Care Subsidy Program. At the time of enrollment, I was given a tuition breakdown that showed no co-payment requirement. For several months, I received no invoices, only to be later retroactively billed over $1,100 in supposed late fees. I was told by Center Director McGwire Paz that the co-pays had been “deducted behind the scenes,” which directly contradicts DWSS policy, which requires providers to bill parents separately and clearly each month. When I questioned the charges, I was pressured to resolve it over the phone without any written explanation. No one, including District Leader Abby Stone could provide documentation or explain how the amounts were calculated. A 10% sibling discount promised at enrollment was never applied, which may have resulted in overbilling to the state. Billing statements were changed retroactively with no timestamps or prior notice, making it impossible to track what was paid or owed. Despite my good-faith attempts to resolve the issue, I was threatened with disenrollment if I did not pay the full disputed amount, even while my complaint was under review. Worse, I escalated this to KinderCare leadership, the Regional VP Eric Larsen, claimed that I had been “invoiced monthly” , yet could not produce a single actual invoice when I asked. I’ve since reported the matter to the appropriate state agencies. While I understand billing errors can occur, KinderCare’s conduct, including misrepresentation of state policy, lack of documentation, and threats tied to unresolved billing, is unacceptable, especially where public funds and working families are involved. I hope this review helps other parents make informed decisions.

  Unfortunately, our experience with this childcare center was very disappointing. The teachers seemed to lack the necessary training and knowledge, and there was very little structure in the classroom. Additionally, the student-to-teacher ratio consistently appeared too high, which made it difficult for the children to receive the attention they needed. I would not recommend this facility.
