Choosing to leave Challenger School was the best decision I ever made for my child. Despite knowing how academically advanced my daughter is, they refused to let her pass kindergarten because she was born 22 days after their cutoff. It became very clear that they care more about rigid policies and money than student success. The headmaster, Mrs. Joneson, was a horrible person to deal with. She acts like she owns the school and has zero professionalism. I explicitly requested to speak to someone above her, but on the day of the meeting, she showed up anyway, completely ignoring my request.Even their education style isn't worth it. They don't actually teach kids for real knowledge—they just force them to memorize facts and sing patriotic songs. They teach through fear and intimidation, which completely crushes a child's love for learning. We have since transitioned to a new school, and the difference is night and day. In less than a month, my daughter is already thriving and doing 3rd-grade level math and English. I am incredibly happy we left Challenger. Avoid this school if you want a healthy administration and real education for your child.

So far it’s been great. We did summer school and now my daughter is in preschool 4 year olds and she absolutely loves it!!! They sing songs and teach them to be aware of their decisions so she’s much more behaved. She’s definitely a free spirit, has a big imagination and the school has a great balance of structure and play that has helped her thrive in and outside of school.
Teachers are very nice, I like the safety of the school and locked doors at all times where you need to be buzzed in.
Daughter is constantly telling me how much she loves school which is nice to hear since I don’t see her all day those days. She comes home singing songs she’s learned that are Holliday threaded or have to do with phonics or reading. Really cute, I send those recordings to grandparents all the time.
so i graduated here literally last year, and it was the worst thing ever. i went here preschool to 8th and EVERYTHING SUCKED. firstly, the tuition is so expensive it was like 20k a year, and not to mention staying in "aftercare" was an extra 2k. the headmaster favored literally ALL the rich kids, ESPECIALLY HER SON. they tried to push a lot of Republican and generally political beliefs onto us even if we were like 10-13 and from a very young age I was convinced that capitalism was just the best thing ever!! yay! the only good part was the teachers, i enjoyed them. they don't have sports, theatre, or extracurricular programs (at least barely) and they're mainly just pushy academics. i'm at Bishop Gorman now, a school that they push you to go to, and it's pretty good, but that's besides the point. also there's like barely any kids, and most of those kids are out of touch. mostly rich kids. in my graduating class, there was like 32 kids in the GRADE. i got bullied a bit my entire 10 years. basically, it felt like if you weren't a factory setting human being with the most basic interests you were a target for popular kids. the principals also didn't do anything about it, so there's that too. also, in 8th grade, everyone started treating me really weirdly because I started to openly support lgbtq and non racist ideologies. so, if you wanna send your kids to private school, don't send them here. send them to literally any other private school in the state. i cannot insist that enough. thanks for reading ✨

The principal at Challenger School has been unprofessional and unhelpful, and based on my experience, I would not recommend this school.
