I've had both my children here under 1 and 3+ and I've had a great experience and highly recommend Primrose of Wayne. Below is my honest and thorough review listed as pros and cons. PROS FOOD & WATER - I don't have to worry about packing lunch, because they feed the kids. All meals are made in house like beef w/ lo mein, chicken brown rice and veggies, and cheese tortellini in marinera sauce with side of peas. No Juices, only water (I love this). Not things like chicken nuggets and pizza. ADMIN - Communication is fantastic. They always pick up and read my messages right away. Address my concerns (e.g. daughter said she didn't have friends when they changed classroom-got fixed right away). They've always had the same admin staff since I've been there and they are all amazing and very attentive, kind, welcoming, and reassuring. TEACHERS- Simply kind and caring. My daughter loves her teachers and wants to go to school every day. CLEANLINESS- compared to other places I've toured, this daycare looks and feels clean and organized. EDUCATION: Great. I love that they practice writing names every day, learning math, and science. My daughter learned so much. SERVICES/EXTRACURRICULARS: They connected me with speech therapy faciliated at the school and soccer in spring is wonderful. Note: Before picking this place for my daughter, I went on the state website to check for complaints or violations during state inspections and they passed with flying colors. There were places closer to me that after seeing those inspection reports, it was a no brainer that I would choose Primrose. CONS (but not really) PRICE - The price is great, but childcare in general is expensive. ITEMS - My milk bottle caps can get lost for baby/toddler rooms, just make sure to label everything if and check your bag to make sure its yours before you leave. NEW STAFF - new staff might give the wrong backpack, jackets, or other things. This got fixed right away after I corrected them. It is so hard to find cons, because we've had such a great experience here.

After a difficult experience at our previous daycare, moving our daughter to Primrose School of Wayne has been an incredibly positive change for our family. From the very first days, the difference in the environment was clear. The classrooms feel calm, well-organized, and thoughtfully structured for young children. Most importantly, the teachers show genuine warmth, patience, and attentiveness toward each child. Our daughter initially had a lot of separation anxiety, which made starting daycare very challenging. The teachers approached her transition with so much compassion and care. They took the time to comfort her, engage with her, and help her feel safe. Seeing the way they respond to children emotionally has given us tremendous peace of mind. We’ve also appreciated the communication from the staff and the overall sense that the school truly partners with parents in supporting each child’s development and well-being. Today, our daughter is happier, more relaxed, and beginning to enjoy her time at school, which means everything to us as parents. We are very grateful to the team at Primrose School of Wayne for creating such a nurturing and supportive environment. For families looking for a daycare that prioritizes both learning and emotional care, our experience at Primrose has been extremely positive.

Primrose is a wonderful preschool! Our daughter has attended since infancy and will be graduating Pre-K this June. The curriculum has been comprehensive since she started and she’s now an emerging reader, with developing spelling skills and math skills. She’s been so excited to count to 100 and share her addition and subtraction skills at home. She’s developed strong friendships at her school and is also a kind and thoughtful child. She loves the special courses on Zoology and the school has a great framework to support being kind to others and the earth. We’ve enrolled her for summer adventure camp here and we’re looking forward to hearing from her about her fun and learning each day.
