  These past few months I have had the pleasure of being able to work with Renzo Herrera while prepping for the ACT. I consistently saw improvement not only in the practice tests provided, but also in my official composite score. Renzo’s patience and personable approach made the process of such a high-stakes test feel smooth and feasible. Throughout the entirety of our sessions, I had no doubt in my mind that he was confident in my skills and ability to improve. Over the span of a few months, Renzo has helped me increase my composite score by five points and earn a perfect score in one section; I still have yet to take the July test! I will be applying to colleges in the fall, and I truly don’t think I would be as assured as I am now if it weren’t for his immense support. Therefore, I would like to say thank you to Renzo and the team at Summit Prep!

  My son has been working with Christian over the past year and both he and I think that Christian is wonderful. Christian has a command of the curriculum across the board. His teaching style creates a fun, relaxing, and stress free environment in which my son thrives. Christian provides homework help, and helps tutor my son for upcoming g school tests. He has also tutored my son for the SSAT and we were very satisfied with the score. Also, the test taking strategies were very useful. During the course of their time together, Christian has learned my son’s strengths and weaknesses, which Christian uses to tailor a learning plan suited to my son’s needs. He also provides time during working to give my son time to think about how to solve a problem rather then jumping in to assist. This has helped my son figure out how to solve a problem in Language arts and math class. This has also boosted his confidence. He is very reliable and you can always count on him to work around your schedule. I highly recommend Christian as a tutor and I believe both parents and their child(ren) will be truly happy working with Christian.

  My experience with Summit Prep for SAT Verbal was excellent! I highly recommend Patrick as a tutor. He is knowledgeable, patient, and kind, and he explains how to approach SAT Verbal questions clearly and thoroughly. His strategies made the questions much easier to understand.

  Brandon is incredibly intelligent, professional, and patient. He has a supportive "you can do this" manner that makes even the most stressful math classes and tests feel manageable. He has helped my son navigate his math courses with a wonderful sense of confidence and calm - and he achieved exceptional grades. Brandon is always punctual, goes above and beyond to accommodate our schedule, and truly cares about his students' success. We are so grateful to have found Brandon. He is exceptional at what he does, and I recommend him without hesitation.

  Christian Sherwin was an outstanding tutor for my daughter in AP Calculus AB. He worked with her for about a year and made a real difference in both her understanding of the material and her confidence. Christian is patient, organized, responsive, and very clear in his explanations. He was able to break down difficult calculus concepts in a way that made them more manageable, and he helped my daughter stay on track throughout a demanding school year. Over the course of working with him, she improved her grade, performed better on tests, and felt much more prepared for the AP exam. What stood out most was that Christian was both supportive and effective. He created a positive learning environment while still helping her make meaningful academic progress. By the time she took the AP Calculus AB exam, she felt that it was manageable, which says a lot about the preparation and confidence he helped her build. We are very grateful for Christian’s help and would highly recommend him to any student looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and highly effective math tutor.
