  We recently moved from another country, and the team at Old Tappan KinderCare made the transition for our four-year-old daughter incredibly warm, pleasant, and welcoming. Starting in a new new environment can be challenging, but they helped her feel comfortable and safe from the very first day. The center’s director, Jessica, is exceptional — highly professional, caring, and always attentive to both the children and the parents. She creates a calm, supportive atmosphere that truly sets the tone for the entire center. The assistant director, Holly, is also wonderful. She is warm, approachable, and consistently goes out of her way to support families and ensure the classroom environment runs smoothly. Her kindness and attention to detail make a real difference. Our daughter’s teacher, Ms. Diana, has been amazing as well. She is patient, kind, and truly understands how to connect with children while helping them grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Our daughter absolutely loves her and looks forward to school every day. We are extremely grateful for the thoughtful care, communication, and professionalism of the entire team. Highly recommended for any family looking for a nurturing and high-quality Pre-K experience.

  Jessica is everything you would want in a pre-K school director. Our daughter felt comfortable from day one and has excelled academically. I can say without hesitation I would recommend this pre-school. - Gary Y., Old Tappan.

  We LOVE Old Tappan Kindercare, as a family of 2 years now! They were our first encounter with the community on the Rockland side of the bridge moving from Westchester. I had interviewed 5 other daycares in the area, prior to moving and am so so so happy I made the decision to have my children join this heartfelt "kindercare" family. They exceed on all the major qualities you would want to see in a day care for your precious children. The qualities that distinguish them the most at least for me is 1) True compassion for child care they demonstrate, its difficult as working parents to put your child in care of others but they make it that much easier on you seeing the love the kids have for the teachers and the compassion that is given right back from the teachers to them. 2) the creative educational programs weaved into every classroom (from Nursery to Pre-K). I'm amazed when my 3yr old comes home and tells me about the visual word learning and science lessons and calendar month day exercises she can recite --and she isn't even in kindergarden yet. So proud a DayCare takes pride in this level of learning early on. 3) the quality of teachers (these are well experienced teachers and the directors ensure the bar is set high in hiring as they expand (which is important to me, that there is consistency for the children), 4) NAEYC accredited (if you look...not many daycares can claim this or strive to accomplish it, its an important educational honor. 5) SECURITY --well secured building and outside play area and communications system. As a working Mom of 1 and 3 yr olds and being part of the Kindercare family for 2 1/2 yrs now, I would whole heartedly recommend this as the preferred Rockland NY and NJ daycare center for all families.
