was in the LPN program from 2024-2025, DO NOT JOIN THIS SCHOOL, it is a money grab, staff dont care about your issues, it feels illegal to have such short time to learn so much info and be allowed to practice on human beings, was in my 4th quarter and didnt feel prepared to go into the nursing world. They change their policies every 3 months (each quarter) WITHOUT NOTICE and if you dont agree, too bad, go ahead and lose thousands of dollars by leaving. you are FORCED to agree, we are treated like children (cant leave class to use the restroom, cant check your phone even if you have an emergency ((kids, family, work)) they dont care, no compassion.if I knew any of this prior, I would have never joined. there was also an incident where my classmates were being anti semetic, yelling across the class that jews do not belong in america, this was reported by 2 other classmates and the director didnt do anything, he called the students in and asked for their side of the story even though the professor confirmed what happened and was fired for it, those students didnt even get a warning slip, they got a public apology from the director himself afterwards with him stating “he wouldnt have done anything if a student didnt involve a parent that threatened to go public with the information.” this school broke my spirit and made me turn away from nursing completely.

I looked up Lpn programs near me and this School popped up and everything was good at First. I got to see the school. I thought my counselor was good but things changed. I kept telling him I wanted to be in the LPn program but he kept insisting on me being in the patient care technician. I was telling him like I don’t want that would be my second choice, but then he enrolled me in it anyways and he signed me up for the patient care program. which made me feel like he didn’t expect that I would pass the teas test. I did pass then I had to go back to the school redo all the paperwork, and then only was given like a week and a half to do all the blood work and urine test. he kept urging me to go to a particular LabCorp which he kept saying was $49. I called them and they’re all the way in union and it’s $89 and then he kept telling me to go there. They’re calling me constantly when I already took the test with my doctors the results come in a week or two later. I felt rushed and stressed then I get on the phone with the director and told her my concerns and it was just like going back-and-forth with the school, the LabCorp and my doctor. I just felt over stress because my counselor would say one thing then change what he just said. He was getting me really extremely frustrated. today is the first day of school and I don’t have books because my paperwork is not right and I basically can’t start class right. so I called The counselor like is there a later time to be put in the program? he didn’t want to even explain. I told him basically if not, then I’ll just go to another school that way I will have my paperwork ready. he’s like don’t do that like trying to convince me. when I’ve made my mind up already. then he’s like I’ll just let you speak to my director. So he transferred me over to her and I’m telling her like hey my name is so-and-so and I don’t feel right about the program. she’s cutting me off saying all right… all right like with an attitude. I’m like oh so you don’t want to hear what I have to say. She was like yeah you said what you had to other day. I was telling her yeah and you have a shitty counselor and you have a shitty school and she ends the call on me. then I call back my counselor and I’d tell him yeah she ended the call on me and how should I want to go to the school? If y’all don’t even want to hear what I have to say. And now I’m concerned because I really hope that they take this off of my financial aid because I want to go to a different school. I’m not in the school so just cancel cancel everything please.

Attending this school isn’t too much the problem but the Director of Nursing William Gottshall has made it almost unbearable. The harassment, unfair, and extreme conditions he goes through to push you out of a program is terrible and should be under review. My fellow classmates and I have had numerous issues with this even though there aren’t any academic or financial issues. He just likes to target.

One of the greatest programs for LPN! It challenged me academically while also preparing me for real-life nursing situations. The school Director, Assistant Director and Instructors pushed us to think critically and to understand the material deeply, while applying what we learned in clinical settings. This program prepared me extremely well for NCLEX and helped to shape me into a competent and confident nurse.
