Joining Century Air in Fairfield was one of the best decisions I made for my flight training. Before coming here, I trained at another flight school where I honestly wasted a lot of time and money without making much progress. My brother-in-law, Danyial Mansoor, who used to instruct at Century Air, recommended this school to me, and I’m really glad he did.
I started my instrument training here in November 2025 and finished my Instrument Rating by mid-February 2026. Right after that, I started my Commercial training and finished it in mid-May 2026. Everything moved quickly and smoothly with no unnecessary delays or time wasting. If you are ready and putting in the work, the school helps you keep moving forward.
My instructor, Luke Kurain, was honestly one of the biggest reasons my training went so well. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and easy to learn from. No matter how many questions I asked, he always took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I fully understood it. He genuinely cares about his students and wants them to succeed, not just pass a checkride. He also pushes you to become a safe, confident, and professional pilot while keeping training enjoyable and stress-free. I learned a lot from him during both my instrument and commercial training.
One thing I really liked about Century Air is that once you are done with training and checkride ready, they try to get your checkride scheduled as soon as possible through their in-house DPE, Captain Richard Greene, the president of Century Air. He is very professional, fair, and has a really nice personality that helps students feel more comfortable during the checkride process.
Another thing I really appreciated was how everyone at Century Air treated me like family. Christine and all the staff were always very helpful, accommodating, and genuinely cared about helping students throughout their training.
The airplanes are clean and well maintained, and everyone at the school is friendly and supportive. I highly recommend Century Air to anyone looking for a good flight school that truly wants to help students succeed.

Having experienced many flight schools around the country I feel comfortable saying that Century is without a doubt one of the best. They run a strong program that teaches students better than the competition. KCDW is a busy training airport but a very good learning place for students. I had Luke as my instructor for instrument and commercial and he is one of the best instructors I have ever had. He often felt more like a friend than an instructor. The fleet of Skyhawks has a nice variety for every stage of training. They also have a very solid multi engine program which is hard to find in the area. Totally recommend!!

I recently completed my Private Pilot training and graduated from Century Air, and I’m extremely grateful for the experience I had here. From day one, the entire team was welcoming, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping me become a safe and confident pilot. What really stands out about Century Air is that the instructors and staff truly care about their students and want to see them succeed.
A huge thank you to Luke Kurian for being an outstanding instructor throughout my training. Luke is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and very effective at teaching how to fly. He always took the time to explain things thoroughly, made complex concepts easier to understand, and helped build my confidence every step of the way. His calm and professional teaching style made a big impact on my growth as a pilot.
I also want to sincerely thank Christine, Stephanie and rest of the team for always helping accommodate my busy and always changing schedule. Flight training is not easy to balance with work and a busy day-to-day schedule, but they consistently went above and beyond to make things work and keep me progressing toward my goals. Their support, flexibility, and communication made the entire process smooth and made possible my dream of aviation.
Another thank you to Captain Richard Greene for the valuable lessons and safety mindset he shares with his students. Safety is clearly a major priority at Century Air, and the guidance and experience he brings to students is something that really sets this school apart.
Century Air also offers a very well-structured Part 141 program that keeps training organized and efficient. The facilities are top notch, the aircraft are very well maintained, and the rental process is excellent as well.
Overall, I highly recommend Century Air to anyone looking for quality flight training. The instructors, staff, facilities, and overall environment make it a great place to learn and grow as a pilot.
It is challenging to find the right words to fully encapsulate and express the incredible training environment that Century has created. All of the instructors, staff, and of course, Christine and Richard, provide the most positive and successful learning/training environment that I’ve gotten the chance to be a part of. During my time at century I earned my instrument rating, commercial single engine certificate, CFI, CFII, and commercial multi engine land rating. This is a school where you feel valued, and your learning style and training are important to your instructor. It’s not some cash grab or just about building hours like so many other places. Everyone who works at century truly cares about your journey in aviation. And it’s such a positive environment; everyone says hi to one another, if people see you taking a test, everyone wishes you good luck, it really feels like a community. This is something that I believe is undervalued in flight training. Because being in flight school can be a very isolating experience, it’s not like college classes where you are in the same class with a bunch of friends and can all study together. Usually at a flight school, you have your one on one lessons, but once they’re over, it’s on you to go home and study and learn the material on your own. While that is necessary and a very important skill, at century you also have the opportunity to find other people to study with and learn from. Susy was my primary instructor for my CFI training, and she had a huge impact on my aviation journey. She made me feel far more confident as a pilot than I had at any point in the past and that is something I’m very grateful for. To make a quick note about the quality of aircraft, I have never seen a school more committed to thorough and proper maintenance of their planes.
I have had experience at other well regarded flight schools, but I have to say that they don’t come close to the overall experience, training environment, and standards at Century. I have recommended and sent friends to century before, and I could not be more confident in saying that if someone chooses to start or continue their aviation journey here, they will be very happy with their decision.

Started here about four months ago after starting off at another flight school. Far and away better than other spots I’ve been including ones in the area! Has to be the only flight school in the country where you see the owners and the chief pilot every single time you fly! Planes are priced fairly and always in really good condition.
