⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️— Exceptional Education & Support at Metropolitan Community College Omaha
I’ve been part of Metropolitan Community College Omaha since 2015, and I can say without hesitation this is a top-tier community college. Metro has supported me every step of the way — financially and academically — while I built a diverse, practical skill set: Class A CDL, a Career Certificate in Instructional Management, an Associate in Business, a Real Estate Specialist certificate, and now I’m preparing to pursue another degree (and Metro makes it easy to change direction when your goals evolve).
Why I highly recommend MCC Omaha:
- Outstanding, career-focused programs that actually lead to jobs.
- Strong financial support and programs that help pay for education.
- Flexible, student-centered advising that accepts and encourages changes in academic plans.
- Excellent transfer value — start at Metro to save money, get high-quality coursework, then transfer to a university for your bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate.
- A respected reputation: employers and universities recognize Metro graduates.
- Metro carries the number one on-campus Reentry program in the Nation #180RAP. This program helps the community by hitting recidivism head-on—- and providing the boost to help the hurdles for those from prison>jail>treatment. Federal or State. This is a true Hand-Up Program not a Hand-Out. The numbers show in this truly extraordinary non-profit program.
If you’re deciding where to start your higher education, do your general education at a great community college like Metropolitan Community College Omaha — you’ll save money and receive an education that prepares you for real careers. Don’t underestimate it just because it’s a “community college.” Metro is professional, supportive, and well-respected. Highly recommended for students from anywhere in the country — or the world.

I was onced enrolled at this community School. So may staff but not knowledgeable to guide students for career exploration and to have successful pathway specially for International Students Rules will be followed depending of who the student is.
I witnessed that 1 student had the.chance to take the course pre requisite at the same time. I also knew with TEAS students get to LPN even with low score and pre requisite is not A. Requirememts to get in was NOT PROPERLY OUTLINED.
I did not pursue in this Instituition. I tried to reach out and send email to higher staff but nobody responded to me. This School is only after the grade A but not focusing about students behavior, attitude in school, and ability to succeed.

Currently attending. I returned to college after a few years and nothing has changed. They claim to be flexible but the professors clearly have different goals. My class received an email week 2 or 3 of our course and the summary was that he had too many students to keep track of so he would need more time to get discussion responses done or/and grade our work. I attend full time and can say I have about 5-8 sometimes 10 assignments due every other day rather than 1 set due date which would be easier to keep track of. Having several due dates for the same and different courses is difficult to keep up or keep track of and I wish MCC would have set regulation/policy for this. Professors ask for more time but students are expected to perform as normal while still working full time and caring for their families. Considering transferring at this point.
